Faced with increasingly serious environmental problems and energy crisis,new energy vehicles have become the focus of research at home and abroad.Free Piston Linear Generator(FPLG)presents unique advantages as a new power plant for vehicles with simple structure,high energy conversion efficiency,high power density and multi-fuel adaptability.In this thesis,FPLG series hybrid vehicle has been carried out a series research as the research object,including drive system design,modeling and simulation,energy management and control and other aspects.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)Drive system design for FPLG series hybrid vehicle.The structural design scheme and energy flow form of FPLG series hybrid drive system are established,and the basic structural parameters and design performance index are given.According to the design goal,through the theory and engineering analysis,the parts matching are accomplished,including: motor selection and parameter calculation;FPLG structural parameters matching and modular design;battery selection and parameter calculating;design of transmission ratio.(2)Modeling study of drive system for FPLG series hybrid vehicle.The models of subsystems of drive system are set up.The operating principle and mathematical models are analyzed,and the simulation models are established,including motor model,FPLG model,battery model,transmission model and electrical connection.(3)Research on the control method of FPLG series hybrid vehicle.According to the energy flow direction,the running condition of the vehicle and the efficient working state of subsystems,the energy management rules are formulated to realize the distribution of the power demand between the multi-power sources so that the energy output is in a coordinated manner.It contains the vehicle operating conditions and energy flow form;rule-based energy management strategy;drive motor torque and speed control program;FPLG rectification control,and discussion on modular power regulation scheme.(4)Simulation analysis of FPLG series hybrid vehicle.Simulation in ECE-15,EUDC and 100 km acceleration conditions is carried out by MATLAB/simulink.On the one hand,the correctness of the simulation model is verified;on the other hand,the energy management and control method of the multi-power source are realized and verified.Then,the simulation result curve is given.Based on the simulation results,the relationship between FPLG power output and DC bus voltage is discussed;the discharge and charge efficiency of battery and energy loss of the electrical system are discussed.
