Research On Urban Historic Street Landscape Design

Historic streets are an important means to build up cultural self-confidence.Historic streets are historical and cultural relics left over by a long process of development.In the past few years,protective measures have been taken mainly for historic streets,but the transformed streets have not become more dynamic and attractive as expected.In recent years,this problem has been paid attention to,many practitioners put forward the methods and measures of transformation,on this basis,this paper mainly takes the landscape design method of historic streets as the focus of research.Through the landscape design of the West Street of Xingshan Temple in Xiaozhai,this paper summarizes the landscape design methods suitable for the historic streets,and puts forward four strategies of the extension of the historic scenic spots,the theme of the space,the artistic image and the Plaza of the roads,and how to implement them concretely in the design of the various landscape elements,and puts forward the operability.Easy to practice.In a word,historic street is the concise of a city’s long history.The landscape of historic street is the street landscape which continues the historical context,conforms to the present life,art and pleasant sustainable development.On the basis of consulting a large number of existing works,this paper takes the West Street of Xingshan Temple in Xiaozhai as the object,carefully investigates the current situation,and obtains the landscape design method of the street.The article isdivided into six parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the research background,research content and the purpose and significance of the research;the second part lists the concepts related to the paper,including landscape,urban streets,historic streets,street landscape design,and compares the current situation at home and abroad horizontally.The third part is about historical streets,looking for completed cases at home and abroad to provide reference for the street design of this article;the fourth part is about the design objectives,principles and Strategies of urban historical street landscape design;the fifth part is about the street landscape design of Xingshan Temple West Street,applying the previous design strategies.The last part is the conclusion and Prospect of the paper.Through the landscape design of the West Street of Xingshan Temple in Xiaozhai,this paper summarizes the landscape design methods applicable to the historic streets,and puts forward four strategies: the extension of historic scenic spots,the thematization of space,the artistry of images and the Plaza of roads.It also puts forward how to implement them in the design of each landscape element and how to put them into practice.An easy-to-practice method.In a word,the historic street is a concise city’s long history.The landscape of the historic street is a street landscape that continues the historical context and conforms to the current life,art and pleasant sustainable development.
