With the arrival of the urban development stock era and the post-industrial era,the old industrial area faces the challenges of industrial structure upgrading adjustment,space quality improvement,industrial heritage protection and ecological environmental protection.The old industrial areas shoulder the burden of continuing to promote urbanization,industrialization and economic innovation and development.However,the current mainstream research tends to the old industrial areas where the original industrial functions have basically disappeared.The industrial upgrading of the old industrial areas where industrial activities are still active is less involved.Therefore,this paper focuses on the industrial function adjustment strategies of such industrial areas and the matching method of industrial space improvement.This paper draws on the concept of succession of ecology,uses the concept of succession to understand the process of development and change of functions in a certain space environment,and understands the phenomena and mechanisms of development and change of industrial functions in old industrial zones from the perspective of functional succession.Development of change phenomena and mechanisms.Through systematic research on functional succession relative theory and industrial upgrading cases in old industrial areas,the overall characteristics of industrial function succession process in old industrial areas are summarized,and three industrial function improvement strategies are proposed,which are cumulative upgrading strategy,interspersed upgrading strategy and cyclical upgrading strategy.The author applies the strategy of industrial upgrading to the promotion of the sensor industry in Changzhou smart sensor town,and adopts the strategy of increasing the sensor industry mainly by accumulation,supplemented by interpenetration and periodicity according to the specific situation.From the specific analysis of the development conditions of the sensor industry to the determination of the industry entry,and then according to the development of the sensor industry cluster and the need to integrate into the urban life,the improvement measures of the industry correlation stage and the industry-city association stage are proposed to promote the cumulative accumulation of the sensor industry.At the same time,as an auxiliary strategy,it introduces the sensor technology research platform and the sensor experience and travel function,builds an industrial innovation ecology,and promotes the industrial park's continuous evolution to higher value new industry forms.After clarifying the path of industrial upgrading,it is necessary to transform it into a corresponding industrial space structure in order to generate a specific spatial form.Theprocess consists of combing the functional elements of each stage,coupling various functional units,and forming the functional structure of each stage,and finally integrating them into the spatial structure prototype of the sensor industry.In the concrete spatial form creation,the prototype is combined with the current spatial pattern to generate specific functional layout and land use layout,and the cumulative,interspersed,and periodic promotion strategies are applied to specific space construction measures.The measures include designing corresponding important nodes according to various stages of industrial upgrading;introducing sensing experience space to enhance the vitality of the site;using the compatibility transformation of the old factory building and the public property rights system to create a compatible and open industrial space.Finally,the author evaluated the improvement benefits.In solving the problems of industrial upgrading and space creation in the old industrial areas,a complete system from industrial function analysis and function improvement path to space prototype generation,spatial form creation,and upgrade evaluation is formed.
