Price Prediction Of Air Freight Based On Statistical Analysis

The price of air freight is affected by market demand,capacity,competitive routes and other factor,which is complex and changeable.At present,various airlines comprehensively consier various facoters and adjust the prices of different flights in real time by special personnel.Because the pricing strategy and range adjustment are mostly based on the prediction of human experience,they are often restricted by the level of personal experience and ability of price adjustment personnel and their grasp of market information.Therefore,they may not be able to accurately grasp the trend of market changes and make scientific decisions.However,the development of modern prediction science is very rapid,which plays an increasingly important role in all walks of life.In this paper,according to the current pricing situation of air cargo flights in China,combined with the characteristics of air cargo,based on the statistical prediction method to predict the price of air cargo.Taking route a as an example,this paper collected and sorted out the freight price change data of the route in the past six years,and tries to established the multiple linear regression analysis and time series analysis prediction model with the computer software SPSS as the tool.Then,Then through the data test and comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of the devloped two statistical models in the air freight price prediction,This paper is a practical application of mathematical statistical prediction model in the field of air freight price prediction.It is a method exploration and attempt of air freight price prediction.The combination model of route price prediction established in this paper is reasonable and has certain accuracy of route freight price prediction.It provides a scientific reference for the pricing of existing flights and increases the means of prediction,which can greatly reduce the pricing errors caused by human subjective factors.At the same time,the price prediction model proposed in this paper can also reveal the price law of airlines and provide the trend of prices for airline users,which has very good practical significance and use value.
