As is known to all,with the development of economy,building energy consumption increases year by year.Therefore,many researchers adopt renewable energy to solve the problem of building energy consumption.In Pakistan,the energy shortage is more serious.The power grid alone cannot meet the continuous power supply demand of the campus.Especially in summer,it often leads to a power cut of 2-3 hours every day on the campus.In order to solve the electricity demand of campus buildings,this thesis proposes and designs a 500 kW photovoltaic grid-connected power generation system,and analyzes the annual operation characteristics of the photovoltaic grid-connected system through simulation.The research results of this thesis play an important role in promoting the development and application of rooftop photovoltaic system in Pakistani campus.Firstly,combined with the climate characteristics of Pakistan,the influence of air conditioning load without considering fresh air load is analyzed.A building cooling load calculation model was established based on TRNSYS software,without considering the ventilation conditions,to study the roof photovoltaic modules for the influence of the cooling load of the building.The results show that the roof photovoltaic modules can reduce 10.62% of the building cooling load.Secondly,combined with the lighting standards of Pakistan and the actual situation of buildings,the lighting,plug,air conditioning load in summer and heating load in winter are analyzed,so as to determine the total electrical load and various electrical loads of campus buildings.The total power load of the 10 buildings is 700 kW,including 450 kW lighting and plug in load and 250 kW air conditioning load.Third,according to the campus power load demand and characteristics of the electricity load for winter and summer,A 500 kW roof PV system is designed,and the capacity of the PV system panel,battery,inverter and other equipment is determined.Based on the HOMER software the Annual operation characteristics of photovoltaic grid-connected system are analyzed.And the feasibility of PV system is analyzed by energy cost,system cost and payback period.
