| The problem of saturated sand liquefaction is a hot and cutting-edge research topic in the field of seismic engineering. In recent years, the desaturation method has gradually attracted the attention of scholars and engineers as an economical and convenient liquefied foundation treatment method. There are many available methods of desaturation at present, such as electrolytic desaturation, microbial desaturation, chemical desaturation, etc. However, there are few studies on evaluation methods of soil desaturation under field conditions. In this paper, standard sand and coral sand were taken as the research objects through laboratory tests. In the test, pure water and different concentrations of Na Cl were used to test the resistivity of the standard sand and coral sand samples with different saturations. The effects of water content, porosity, and different Na Cl concentrations on the resistivity characteristics of sand samples provide support for the exploration of the on-site condition desaturation evaluation. The main test results of this article are as follows:(1)The resistivity of the standard sand sample decreases with increasing saturation and p H value of the sample. It is found that when the saturation of the standard sand sample is less than 40%,a small increase or decrease in saturation can bring a large change in resistivity. When the saturation is greater than 60%,as the saturation increases, the resistivity of the soil does not change much. The resistivity of saturated standard sand decreases with the increase of porosity. When the saturated standard sand is completely loose, the resistivity value is the lowest.(2)The resistivity of coral sand tends to decrease with increasing saturation, that is,the greater the water content in the soil, the better the conductivity of the soil. The resistivity of sand mainly depends on the amount of permeate, porosity, and pore continuity.(3)2%,4%,and 6% Na Cl solutions were tested in the experiment.Since the Na Cl solution contains more ions, the conductivity is better than tap water.A large amount of ions also explains the experimental phenomenon. The change in resistivity caused by the increase in the concentration of Na Cl solution is more obvious in the experiment. It can be concluded that the type of liquid has a considerable influence on the resistivity of sandy soil. |
