With the development of the ages and the progress of science and technology, the vehicle industry has been rapidly developed, vehicle ownership in China is increasing year by year, vehicle technology is also in the process of constantly upgrading, intelligent connected vehicle is defined and becomes the focus of the development of vehicles.Intelligent connected vehicle can provide more information to the driver,at the same time, however, more information will have negative effects to Human-Machine Interaction of vehicles and add more burden and interference to the driver, and finally affect driving efficiency and safety. So it is put forward that the interaction design for Human-Machine Interface of intelligent connected vehicle should have higher requirement,we need to think about how to improve the efficiency of the HMI for the vehicle and to display information in a better way,in order to improve driving safety.Based on deep understanding of intelligent connected vehicle's development and automation level, this paper is aimed at researching the interaction methods and behaviors between drivers and vehicles, and design multimodal interaction based on driving assistance system, and evaluate on this interaction design by way of experimen.Based on the virtual driving simulation platform, three different driving assistance early warning modes are developed, and it is designed comprehensively from three angles of vision, touch and hearing. The three interactive designs are tested on the virtual driving platform system, the vehicle's information and the collision results are recorded during the experiment. The data of two angles: accident rate and driver reaction time is analysed. The users' experience feedbacks are used to investigate the driver's subjective experience and evaluate from the driver's psychological point of view. Finally, the practicability of the system are evaluated by combination of subjective and objective analysis.Through the three kinds of design of interactive mode,we can evaluate and research the three different early interactive ways,in order to effectively improve efficiency of the HMI and driving safety,it may provide some valuable reference for the future development and application of intelligent connected vehicle of Human-Machine Interaction design.
