Value engineering is an important tool for analyzing product value,with product functions as the core and achieving the goal of improving product value.Value engineering expressions fully reflect the relationship between value,function and cost,not only for program comparison,but also for clear product development direction.As a Fortune 500 company,BQ aims to provide consumers with a better car experience.By implementing a PV system improvement project on its C58 model,BQ can add more functions to automotive products.However,because the system brought more material costs,manufacturing costs and maintenance costs,the value of the project failed to reach a consensus within the company.The main contradiction in the divergence is that the PV system has increased the functions of the CQ model of the BQ company.Does it increase the actual value of the automobile product compared with the input cost?This research will use the value engineering method to analyze and compare the improvement project plan,and compare the value changes before and after the improvement according to the value engineering formula:V(value)=F(function)/C(cost).At the same time,in order to enable BQ to maximize the solution value in the process of implementing the PV system improvement project for the C58 model,this study also uses the net present value method and the static cost recovery period analysis method in the process to improve the three types of improvement projects.Possible solutions for analysis and comparison.The relevant results achieved in this study can be directly used as the development of the C58 model of the BQ model to enhance the competitiveness of the model products.At the same time,it can also be used as an important basis and reference for other automobile manufacturers to judge whether to apply photovoltaic technology on their products,so that photovoltaic technology can enter a rapid and healthy development in the automotive field.
