Research On Shared Street Landscape Design

Streets are an indispensable part of urban space and are considered as "capillaries" in cities.With the rapid development of China’s reform and opening-up economy,most urban streets have a high level of urbanization,but the rapid growth of the number of motor vehicles has brought about urban street traffic congestion,environmental deterioration,lack of urban context and other issues.The familiar activity scene on the streets has gradually shifted to safer indoors.The idea of sharing streets makes pedestrians,pedestrians and people’s activities share in street space.Based on this understanding,it is particularly important and urgent to study the planning of sharing streets in cities.Firstly,by collecting the relevant data of shared streets,this paper studies the related theories of new urbanism,traffic calming,environmental behavioral psychology and so on,and clarifies the concepts of roads,streets and shared streets.Secondly,this paper summarizes the design strategies of shared streets based on the analysis of excellent cases at home and abroad,including the sharing design of main street activity space,the sharing design of street traffic space and the sharing design of street facilities.The purpose is to change the traffic-oriented idea of traditional streets,provide a new design direction for street design,and enhance the vitality and charm of urban street space.Returning to the pluralism and humanization of urban space;Finally,taking Xingshan Temple East Street,Jianshan East Road and Wenfeng First Street in Xi’an as examples,this paper analyses the existing problems of the street from the related research of the shared street,designs the three selected streets in detail according to the theory and conclusion,realizes the practice of the design strategy and finally implements the specific street space,hoping to provide one for the future street design of our country.Fixed theoretical basis.In this paper,from the perspective of sharing,people and motor vehicles coexist in the same street,changing the inherent pattern of the street,space environment and space allocation,he encourages pedestrians to communicate with each other,more secure access.At the same time,in the optimization design cases of Xingshan Temple East Street,Construction East Road and Wenfeng First Street,based on the design concept of shared street,lay a certain train of thought for the future street reconstruction.
