| Since the 21st century,the problems of resource depletion and environmental degradation have become more and more serious.People from all walks of life are exploring new ways of energy utilization and environmental protection.In the construction sector,energy consumption can account for 20%of a country’s annual energy consumption.Global attention to the research and development and application of green building materials is increasing.Raw soil material is a kind of ecological-friendly building material with long history.It has appeared in the ancient primitive society and has been widely used since then.Today,earth buildings can be seen all over the world,demonstrating its strong vitality and regional adaptability.However,due to its own performance defects,raw soil materials have been largely limited their application and promotion.Based on the research background of raw soil materials,this paper investigates and analyzes the construction material system and common damage patterns of traditional earth buildings,and obtains three causes of damage to the earth walls,which provides the direction for the next material modification and the study of the materials for the restoration of earth walls.Cement,water glass,and calcium chloride were selected for three soil modification schemes:single-doped cement,single-doped glass,multiple-doped glass and calcium chloride.There are two types of test pieces:40×40×40mm cube test pieces built mechanically and cylindrical test pieces with a diameter of 100mm x 127mm in height.The dosing or parameters of the material(e.g.the module and concentration of water glass)are set in each modification scheme,and then performing compression test and water resistance test(water immersion test,spray test),and the modified results and laws are obtained.Tests show that:single cement,single glass,multiple glass and calcium chloride can improve the compressive strength and water resistance of raw soil materials.In the design dosage,the optimal amount of cement is 8%,the optimal amount of water glass is 10%,and the modulus is 2.5.The optimal amounts of mixed water glass and calcium chloride are 10%and 1.4%respectively.The concentration of water glass used in the test was calculated as Na2O·nSiO2.Water glass and polyurethane resin emulsions were selected from the repair materials of the earth wall,and their permeability in the raw soil test blocks was studied.Measure the depth to which the soil test blocks are immersed in the repair solution and the liquid penetrates into the test blocks.The compression test of the test blocks reinforced with the repair material are performed to test the reinforcement effect.At the same time,the effect of calcium chloride on the permeability of water glass was also studied.The test showed that the modulus of 2.5,the concentration of 40%of water glass can completely penetrated into the cube test blocks of 40×40×40mm,polyurethane could only partially penetrate into the test blocks,and the reinforcement strength of water glass was higher than that of polyurethane.Finally,the typical earth building in Huokou Township,Fujian Province were selected for software simulation analysis,and measures to optimize indoor light and heat environment were proposed to improve the comfort of earth building.The purpose of this paper is to provide reference for the popularization of new-type earth buildings and the restoration of existing ones through the study of modified materials and restoration materials and the simulation and optimization of existing earth buildings. |
