When a fire breaks out in a ship's cabin,it will threaten the ship's structure.The high temperature environment caused by fire will make the temperature of cabin structure rise accordingly,which will result in temperature stress.Meanwhile,the material performance of structure will decrease significantly with the rise of structure temperature,which will lead to the decrease of bearing capacity of structure.Therefore,it is necessary to study the structural response of ship structures in cabin fire scenarios,in order to find out the changing trend of structural response in different fire scenarios,and to provide reference for ship fire protection and fire protection design.Based on the numerical simulation algorithm of large eddy simulation(LES)and the explicit dynamic algorithm of structural dynamic thermal response,a complete analysis method for dynamic thermal response of ship cabin structures in specific fire scenarios is constructed through the organic combination of self-compiled temperature mapping program.Based on the above analysis method,the combustion characteristics and fire development characteristics of fully enclosed tank fires with different oil pool areas are simulated and calculated.Through the analysis of self-compiled temperature mapping program and explicit dynamic algorithm,the structural response characteristics under different oil pool areas are obtained,and the bearing capacity of the structure is evaluated.The simulation calculation and structural response analysis of oil pool fires with different openings are carried out,and the fire development characteristics and corresponding structural response characteristics under different combustion modes are obtained.The comparisons of fully enclosed compartments,unilateral open compartments and bilateral open compartments are made.When all three kinds of fire can continue to burn,the fire in fully enclosed compartments poses a greater threat to the structure.In this paper,the large eddy simulation(LES)algorithm and the explicit dynamic finite element method(FEM)algorithm for structural response are combined with the self-compiled temperature mapping program.A method for calculating the dynamic thermal response of structures under cabin fire is proposed.The method takes into account the time-varying and nonuniform characteristics of ambient temperature in actual fire scenarios,the attenuation of material properties in high temperature environment and the influence of temperature stress caused by structural temperature changes.Aiming at different fire scenarios in a specific cabin,the influence of different fire scenarios on the structural response is analyzed.The relevant analysis methods can provide reference for the fire resistance design of cabin structures.
