Gear pump acts as the power source of hydraulic system and provides energy for hydraulic system or actuator.Gear pump is widely used in various engineering machinery because of its simple fabrication,good self-priming,strong adaptability and insensitivity to the pollution of working medium.With the increasing global energy crisis,the research direction of gear pump is developing towards green,efficient,intelligent and other fields.In response to the slogan of green development and sustainable development put forward by the country,it is more important to study the efficiency characteristics of gear pump.Based on the external meshing gear pump produced by an enterprise in Liaoning Province and applied to construction machinery,this paper analyzed the correlation between the efficiency and working conditions of the external meshing gear pump by measuring and analyzing the structure of the external meshing gear pump and combining with the corresponding hydrodynamic theory.Firstly,the efficiency of gear pump is studied by using relevant scientific theory.The influence of working medium leakage caused by structural factors of gear pump on efficiency and the influence of external working conditions such as speed,pressure and temperature on efficiency are analyzed.Then,the velocity flow field inside gear pump is analyzed by combining SolidWorks software with CFD technology.It is found that there is flow in some areas of gear pump.Speed disorder,the maximum speed appears in the gear pump meshing area.Set up different working conditions,monitor the instantaneous flow of gear pump outlet,and analyze the influence of different working conditions on the instantaneous flow output of gear pump.Finally,the performance test system of gear pump in quality inspection workshop is improved automatically.The improved automatic testing system was used to test the gear pump under different working conditions,and the relationship curves between pressure,speed,temperature and gear pump efficiency were drawn.
