Because of the demand for better quality of life and greater concern of health,the requirement of massage devices has gradually increased.Recently,various massage devices appeared on the market one after another.However,the existing massage devices generally have defects such as the limitation of massage area,the unstable control of massage force,and the unsuitable massage frequency to human body.With the rapid development of mechatronics technology,it is feasible and researchable to develop a massage device with a large massage range,controllable massage power and suitable massage frequency that fit well with human body.Based on the relevant research at home and abroad,a new type of back massage device is proposed,which can achieve automatic location and alterable force control.The main research is as follows:(1)Theoretical analysis the soft tissue of the back muscles on human body,and simplify the tissue into a spring damping model.Besides,the experiments were performed to measure the elastic coefficient of the back muscles on human body.(2)According to ergonomics and traditional Chinese massage theory,the application requirements of the back massage device were determined.By analyzing the functional principle of back massage,the mechanical structure of this back massage device was divided into walking mechanism,positioning module and massage module.The electrical hardware is based on the Advantech PCL-818 L multi-function acquisition card,which controls the electrical components such as stepper motor,servo motor,absolute encoder,PIR switch,and regular start-stop switch.Three kinds of massage path control software have been written,and a human-computer interaction interface has been designed based on Lab VIEW,including human feeling module and massage force value download and data display module.These modules displayed by RGB,which can be visualized better.(3)According to ergonomics and traditional Chinese massage theory,the application requirements of the back massage device were determined.By analyzing the functional principle of back massage,the mechanical structure of this back massage device was divided into walking mechanism,positioning module and massage module.(4)A mechanical model of compression massage was established to analyze the parameters which will affect the compression massage force.And the PID control algorithm and the neural network PID control algorithm were used to perform a compression massage control experiment,the differences between these two control algorithms were compared and analyzed.
