The flight weapons have good stability due to the gyroscopic effect when they fly with high speed rotating,and the control system of tavtical missile and anti-tank missile can be simplified due to the slow speed rotating of flight weapons.When the flight weapons fly with rotating flight,weapons will generate new asymmetric aerodynamic force and moment.When this kind of additional force and moment value exceeds a certain limit,some phenomenon will happen,such as magnus instable,the coupling resonance,rotation blocking and disaster yaw.The flight may be unsuccessful.Therefore,the rotating projectile magnus effect of tactical weapons must be in-depth studied.Firstly,the boundary layer transition phenomenon and the flow characteristics of flow past the two dimensional cylinder were simulated by the numerical methods.The flow field structure,the aerodynamic load and the variations of transition are obtained.Secondly,the effects of transition and various spin ratios(k)to the aerodynamic characteristics of flow past a rotating cylinder were simulated by the numerical methods.According to the flow field structure and its aerodynamic characteristics,the variations of Magnus force and drag coefficient are obtained.Meanwhile,the effects of transition and k on Magnus effect are thoroughly studied.Thirdly,the flow field round the spinning projectile was simulated by the numerical methods.The variations of Magnus force and moment with Mach,boattail angle and length are obtained.According to the flow field structure,the mechanism of Magnus effect for spinning projectile is analyzed,and the effects of Mach and boattail on the mechanism of Magnus effect are thoroughly studied.At the last,the side characteristics of wraparound fins projectile and deflector fins projectile are carried on the thorough research,the change curves of the side force and yaw moment with Ma and angle of attack were given under and tail shape of rotating projectile.The rotary motion of aircraft can be divided into static and dynamic two parts.The influence of rotation on the aerodynamic characteristics of wraparound fins projectile and deflector fins projectile were in-depth studied,meanwhile the aerodynamic characteristics were compared with the same projection area of the straight wing projectile at the static and dynamic states.At the same time,the side characteristics and flow constructions were analyzed for the different opening angle of wraparound fins projectile and deflection angle of deflector fins projectile at static and dynamic.
