Energy is an important material basis for the survival and of human being. In recent years,China's economic development has entered the "new normal",and the energy structure transformation is also urgent. The living energy of residents has become a new hot issue. Therefore, this paper hopes to conduct an empirical study on the energy consumption of residents in China through a new perspective and construct a new model, and analyze the differences in energy consumption of residents in different provinces and their influencing factors, hoping to pass the research on the status of energy use in China.Conduct a preliminary analysis and provide guidance for the release of energy policies by relevant government organizations. This paper mainly uses the geographical weighted regression model and the mixed geographic weighted spatial lag regression model.Based on the panel data of 30provinces(excluding Tibet)and the cross-section data of 2015,the empirical analysis of domestic residents' energy consumption and its influencing factors is carried out. When adopting the geographical weighted regression model, select the total population, the average household size, the total consumption expenditure, the GRP of the sub-region,the urbanization rate, the proportion of the tertiary industry, and the electricity consumption as explanatory variables. The difference in the impact of total energy consumption of residents in different regions. When the mixed geographic weighted spatial lag regression model is adopted, the spatial lag regression model is merged with the hybrid geographic weighted regression model to solve the two problems of spatial auto-correlation and spatial heterogeneity of spatial data, and the total population is analyzed. The difference in the impact of living electricity consumption, average household size and urbanization rate on the total energy consumption of residents in different regions. The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Residents' living energy consumption is affected by economic development, geographical location, energy distribution, energy structure and other factors. The energy consumption of residents in different regions of China is completely different. To achieve balanced energydevelopment across the country, the government needs And the unremitting efforts of every member of society.(2)The typical living energy of residents is coal, oil, natural gas and electricity.Among them, coal consumption is declining year by year, but China's residents' consumption of coal still ranks first in the world.Others such as oil, natural gas,and electricity consumption are rising year by year, the energy structure is in transition, and social energy is gradually transitioning to clean energy.(3)Regarding the influencing factors of residents' energy consumption, this paper mainly starts from the total population, the average household size, the total consumption expenditure, the GRP,the urbanization rate, the proportion of the tertiary industry and the electricity consumption.Conducting empirical analysis, the differences in different regions are obvious, and energy issues are still issues that we need to continue to pay attention to.
