Material Representation In Minimalist Interior Design

With the inheritance and innovation of culture,the control of space becomes more and more important in environmental art design.In order to make the interior space structure function clear and the aesthetic feeling full,the interior space design should not only retain the existing expression language foundation,but also innovate in the space.The interior space bears more human life,so people’s demand for the interior space environment is constantly improving.In view of the different environmental functions,interior design should have the design concept that conforms to the spatial environment,and its designer should carry on the spatial design according to the specific functional nature and personal preference.At present,the styles of interior design emerge in an endless stream.Many designs use complex material decoration and gorgeous color expression,but ignore the real experience of its users,and fail to achieve the harmony and unity of beauty and experience.In the pluralistic era,people need a simple and efficient interior space,which makes the minimalist life attitude of "Danshari" be chosen by more people,and the interior design art style produced by this life attitude also follows.Minimalism not only shows the true feelings of human beings,but also is reflected in the interior design style.The characteristic of the minimalist style in interior design is to use the innate superiority of raw materials in the space,so that the minimalist style structure and modeling space integration.Minimalist interior design has a deeper study on the shape,color and texture of materials.Minimalist design makes efficient use of limited space,its design not only meets the needs of People’s Daily life,but also reflects the minimalist beauty of raw materials.Based on geographical and cultural differences,minimalist interior design uses different raw materials according to the elements provided by different cultural locations,and combines practicality and aesthetics to form a personalized interior design form.The subject of this paper is the study of material expression in minimalist interior design,that is,the space environment effect created by materials and raw materials.From the aesthetic point of view to explain more intuitively,minimalist style interior design highlights the beauty of form at the same time,to show the visual effect of the space as a whole for the purpose,the pursuit of details of the material collocation and performance research.
