With the increasingly strict limitation of pollution emission in worldwide automobile use,improving the degree of automobile electrification to improve the efficiency of internal combustion engine and to energy saving and emission reduction has been widely recognized by the automobile industry.Idle start stop device is one type of electrified device that can significantly reduce the fuel consumption and exhaust emission of automobiles in urban traffic congestion.Different from the traditional starting,ignition and lighting batteries,the idle start stop batteries need to work under high rate of partial state of charge,which poses a severe challenge to lead-acid batteries.In order to satisfy the idle start stop mode,batteries must be further designed and improved.This work is based on two kinds of advanced electrode materials,one is the advanced carbon materials from natural rice husk,named KaiYu rice husk based capacitor carbon,another is titanium based porous lead dioxide prepared from electrodeposition,respectively.With aforementioned electrode materials,questions about Lead carbon batteries,lead carbon asymmetric supercapacitor under start-stop mode have carried on the exploration and research.Application potential of two kinds of rice husk based lead carbon storage devices in start-stop application mode has been discussed.The conclusions of this work are as follows :(1)The beneficial electrochemical effects of KaiYu rice husk-based capacitor carbon as lead carbon battery cathode additive in automobile start-stop mode were investigated.The lead carbon battery cathode with KaiYu rice husk-based capacitor carbon improves the dynamic charging acceptability and cycle durability of the idle start stop mode.(2)Aiming at the idle start stop mode,the mass ratio of in the positive electrode and negative electrode of the rice husk carbon-based lead carbon start-stop battery was redesigned,and the optimal mass ratio of in the positive electrode and negative electrode was obtained to be 1.11-1.23.The rice husk carbon-based lead-carbon start-stop battery in this range has the best start-stop performance.(3)A method for electrodeposition of positive lead dioxide in lead carbon asymmetric supercapacitors was developed.The prepared lead dioxide has abundant pore structure,can provide a large area of electrochemical activity,and has excellent performance in specific capacity,specific power and cyclic durability.(4)Scale-up lead carbon asymmetric supercapacitor device has been developed,further confirmed the asymmetric supercapacitor composed of as prepared lead dioxide and KaiYu rice husk based capacitor carbon is of good performance in charge/discharge properties and cycle durability.Thus it could be amplified to practical scale in idle start stop mode.
