As a power output device,the valveless piezoelectric pump has the advantages of miniaturization,easy integration,and controllable output.It is widely applied for drug delivery,chip laboratory diagnosis,and biological fluid transmission.The valveless piezoelectric pump transmits fluid through the flow tube with differential flow resistance.Common flow tubes with differential flow resistance mainly include Y-shaped flow tubes、diffuser/nozzle flow tubes and Tesla flow tubes.Due to the few types of the flow tube with differential flow resistance,which makes it difficult for the valveless piezoelectric pump to achieve multi-functional integration,and the application field is limited.In order to enrich the structure types of the valveless piezoelectric pump and improve the functional application of the valveless piezoelectric pump,the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes was design in this paper.The vortex diode had the characteristics of the cut-off capacity,which can be applied as a "valve" to replace the moving part.There was a strong vortex motion in the reverse flow of vortex diode,which was very suitable for mixing and stirring.Therefore,the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes also had a mixing function when transferring fluid,which achieved the functional integration of the valveless pump.Moreover,combined with the structural characteristics of the diffuser/nozzle flow tube,the variable structure design of the vortex diode was carried out,which can improve the output performance of the valveless pump.And the output performance experiments of the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes was carried out.The main research contents and achievements of this paper are as follows:1.The review of research status at home and abroad of valveless piezoelectric pumps were summarized.The relationship between the flow resistance coefficients of different flow directions.And the output flow rate of the valveless piezoelectric pump were derived theoretically.Based on the reverse cut-off of the vortex diode,a valveless piezoelectric pump with a vortex diode was designed.2.The structural size parameters of the best flow performance of the vortex diode at low flow rate were calculated by finite element simulation.Combined with the structural characteristics of the diffuser/nozzle tube,the variable structure vortex diode was design.By comparing and analyzing the flow resistance and flow field characteristics of variable structure vortex diodes,and the output performance rules of different structure changes of vortex diodes could be obtained.3.Based on the vortex motion in the reverse flow of the vortex diode,the fluid mixing function of the vortex diode was analyzed by finite element simulation,which provided a basis for the realization of the functional research of the valveless piezoelectric pump.4.Appling the vortex diode as the inlet and outlet channels,the structure of the valveless piezoelectric with vortex diodes was constructed.The working principle of the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes was explained based on the difference in flow resistance of the flow tube.The instantaneous dynamic flow rates of the valveless pump was obtained through the transient analysis,which verified the feasibility of the design scheme of the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes.5.The miniaturization research and output performance experiments of the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes were built.The results showed the feasibility of the piezoelectric pump miniaturization and the stability of output performance.Moreover,the output performance of the valveless piezoelectric pump with diffuser/nozzle tubes and Tesla flow tubes were tested and analyzed.The results showed that the output performance of the valveless piezoelectric pump with vortex diodes was better than the other two valveless pumps,and it is suitable for high viscosity fluid transportation.6.The flow resistance experiments and output flow rates of the valveless piezoelectric pumps with variable structure vortex diodes were tested.The results showed that the output performance of valveless piezoelectric pumps with variable structure vortex diodes were different,and the change of axial tube structure can improve the output performance of the valveless pump.
