In order to get good control performance in permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM)control fields,the accurate permanent magnet flux linkage value is needed.For stator flux estimation and full order or reduced order observer,the rotor flux linkage is treated as a known and constant parameter.But in practice,the rotor flux linkage can vary in a wide range.In this paper,a rotor flux linkage observer based on Kalman filter is presented.By considering the rotor flux linkage as a variable and establishing a new state vector,a three-order Kalman filter is constructed.The performance of the proposed observer and accurate estimation of rotor flux linkage is shown by the simulation results.This paper presents the mathematical model of PMSM and the basic principle and realization of vector control.The simulation model of PMSM control system based on speed and current double closed loop using vector control in the MATLAB/Simulink environment is built.The result shows that the vector control system of PMSM has the super characteristics of dynamic response verifying the effectiveness of the “id = 0” control and providing a theoretical basis for the analysis,design and debugging of PMSM.In this paper,different state vector selection in rotor flux linkage observer is compared.To deal with the estimation errors due to incorrect motor parameters,the observer is extended to parameter estimations.Further the effects of neglecting isotropy in the rotor are studied,saliency and saturation in both the d and q axis of PMSM are considered.
