With its many advantages such as simple and solid structure,high reliability,low cost,strong fault-tolerant capability and wide speed range,switched reluctance motor(SRM)has been widely used in the electrical drive area,in recent years.However,applications of SRMs are limited due to their high torque ripple.In this dissertation,theoretical analysis and experimental verification are carried out in order to reduce the torque ripple of SRM,and the main works can be summarized as follows.At first,the basic structure,operation principle and control technology of SRM are introduced in this dissertation.The research status of SRM torque ripple suppression at home and abroad is summarized.On this basis,direct torque control(DTC)and torque sharing function(TSF)control are selected as the research direction of SRM torque ripple suppression.Then,the basic equation of SRM is deduced and several modeling methods are introduced.Among them,the finite element method is selected to build the mathematic model of SRM,because of its high accuracy.Then,the DTC method is used in the SRM drive system referring to the DTC used in AC drive.DTC can effectively reduce the fluctuation of torque ripple which proved by the simulation using Matlab/Simulink.But DTC of SRM produces pretty large negative torque during rotation.This would restrict the application of this method.Further more,the TSF control method,which can suppress the torque ripple while avoiding negative torque is studied in this dissertation.Then a modified method is proposed based on TSF.The simulation model of SRM control system based on the modified TSF is established.At last the genetic algorithm is introduced to further optimize its turn-on and turnoff angles.Finally,a experimental platform for the control system of SRM based on TMS320F28335 is built.Then a series of experiments are carried out to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the several control method.
