Gear involute artifact is the standard to calibrate the gear involute measuring instrument,which is mainly used to unify the parameter value of involute,correct the instrument indication value and determine the error of instrument indication value.The Chinese latest national standard of gear involute artifact stipulates two classes of gear involute artifact.Compared with the Class-1 cylindrical involute gear with the same base circle parameters,the Class-1 gear involute artifact increases the expansion length by about 70%,and the tolerance value decreases by about 40%.The manufacturing and testing difficulty of Class-1 gear involute artifact is higher than that of Class-1 cylindrical involute gear.The technical requirements for evaluating gear involute artifact include appearance,material and hardness,surface roughness,base circle radius deviation,involute tooth profile form deviation,tooth profile slope deviation and tooth profile expansion length,in which,the deviation of base circle radius was measured by direct method or comparison method.Then the tooth profile slope deviation was modified to less than 0.1 ?m.At present,there is a problem that the tooth profile slope deviation is not uniform in Class-1 gear involute artifact,which limits the production of high-precision gear involute artifact.In this paper,aiming at the problem of the inconsistence of the tooth profile slope deviation on the multi-tooth surface of the gear involute artifact,the regulation of the tooth profile slope deviation on the multi-tooth surface of gear involute artifact is studied.Firstly,based on the principle of double roller-guide involute generating,the mathematical model of the influence of eccentricity of gear involute artifact installation on the tooth profile slope deviation is established,and the influence law of eccentricity of gear involute artifact installation on the tooth profile slope deviation is put forward.Second,based on the mathematical model and the influence law,the installation eccentricity corresponding to the compensation of the specific tooth profile slope deviation is derived,and the adjustment method of the installation eccentricity is studied.Finally,the experimental equipment is set up to compensate the tooth profile slope deviation of single tooth surface and multi-tooth surface of gear involute artifact respectively.The experiment result shows that: For single tooth surface,through the compensation of installation eccentricity,the tooth profile slope deviationof the gear involute artifact can be reduced from-3.19 ?m to-0.03 ?m;For multi-tooth surface,through the compensation of installation eccentricity,the difference of the tooth profile slope deviation between the two different side tooth surfaces of the gear involute artifact can be reduced from 0.74 ?m to 0.10 ?m.After all,the requirements of tooth profile slope deviation in the standard of Class-1 gear involute artifact are met.In this paper,a method for adjusting the profile slope deviation of involute tooth based on the gear involute artifact is presented,and an experimental device is set up for verification.The experiment result shows that: The method can adjust the tooth profile slope deviation of the gear involute artifact to less than 0.1?m.,which can meet the requirements of tooth profile slope deviation in the national standard of Class-1 gear involute artifact(GB/T 6467-2010),and has the advantages of low cost,convenient operation and reliable results.The adjustment of tooth profile slope deviation is an important part of the development process of the Class-1gear involute artifact,and it is of important scientific significance and research value to establish the reference system of traceability and quantification transfer of gear involute in China.
