Assembly bridge has become an important direction of bridge engineering research because of its advantages of high efficiency,reliable quality,energy saving and environmental protection.The connection of components in prefabricated bridge,especially the connection between pier bottom and bearing platform,has become a hot research topic because it will directly affect the stability of the structure.In order to improve the aseismic performance of assembled piers,based on the traditional design of grouted sleeve connecting pier column and bearing platform,three new connecting ways of pier bottom are proposed in this study,which are the straight groove pier bottom connecting pier model,the inclined groove pier bottom connecting pier model,the arc groove pier bottom connecting pier model,and the additional new type of assembled pier bottom connecting is studied,The main research work is as follows:(1)A new type of connecting component at the bottom of pier is put forward.Based on the original grouting sleeve connecting pile cap and pier column,this paper proposes three kinds of assembled pier models with new pier bottom connection.The new connecting member is composed of two steel plates which are overlapped with each other between the pier bottom and the bearing platform.The new composite steel plate can consume energy and take into account the function of self reset,in which the energy consuming steel bar is the main energy consuming component of the pier,while the prestressed steel bar provides a good self reset ability for the structure.(2)A new research method of pier model is put forward.In order to better study the seismic performance of these three new piers,the numerical simulation method will be used in this study to compare the seismic performance of these three new pier models,and analyze the influence of different pier bottom connection modes on the mechanical index of the pier model.(3)Analysis of the calculation results of the new pier model.Through the analysis of the calculation results of the pier model,it can be concluded that the three pier bottom connections proposed in this study have good seismic performance.Compared with the straight groove model,the yield displacement of the inclined groove and circular groove model is reduced by 49.8% and 53.69%,respectively.The yield load is reduced by 17.4% and 19.9%,the ultimate load is reduced by 19.6% and18.7%,the energy dissipation capacity is reduced by 46.1% and 42.1%,and the maximum residual displacement is increased by 12.2% and 30.1%,respectively.It can be seen that the bridge pier model with straight channel connection has better mechanical properties and better energy consumption capacity.(4)The guiding significance of the new pier model to the actual project.Through the research and analysis,we can get the best performance of the bridge pier model with straight channel connection.On the one hand,it can quickly replace the connecting components at the bottom of the pier after the earthquake damage to achieve the purpose of quickly restoring its use function.On the other hand,this new type of assembled pier has high construction efficiency and environmental protection,which can be well applied to the assembled bridge.Therefore,the research results of this paper will have certain guiding significance for engineering practice.
