Good braking performance is an important guarantee for safe driving of vehicles,and is also a key requirement of national standards and regulations.The safety of braking system is an important index to measure the safety of vehicles.Therefore,in the process of design and manufacture of the braking system,the indexes of the braking elements should be strictly controlled,the braking force should be calculated rigorously,and the braking performance should be verified by all kinds of road tests.In this paper,taking a 2-ton light truck as an example,the structural analysis,design calculation and road test of automobile braking system are fully studied.Firstly,according to the technical parameters of the whole vehicle,such as vehicle weight,axle load,centroid position and tire size,the input conditions that can be used to design the brake system are obtained;then,according to the design manual and formula calculation,the main parameters of the brake system key parts such as brake,brake chamber assembly and air reservoir are determined;finally,through the preparation of calculation program,the braking force of empty / full load is calculated.The deceleration,braking distance and other performance indexes of the service / emergency braking system,as well as the parameters such as the limit parking angle and handle force under the parking state are calculated and checked,and the design scheme meeting the requirements of braking regulations is output.After that,according to the requirements of relevant national test regulations,the road test of the braking system of the truck is carried out to further confirm that the braking performance index meets the requirements of the regulations.At the same time,through the analysis of the problem of the truck's brake deviation feedback from the after-sales market,the root cause of the deviation is found and solved.The structural analysis and design calculation of the pneumatic braking system of light truck is an important basis for studying the braking performance of the whole vehicle,which provides a theoretical basis for the design of the pneumatic braking system of subsequent platform vehicles.The road test of brake system is a necessary step to verify the design.Through the solution process of the brake deviation problem in this paper,it provides a reasonable and effective solution for the following similar problems.
