Research On Improvement Of Soda Saline Soil In Western Jilin Province

Abstract/Summary:
Soil salinization is one of the main problems of soil degradation in the world,which seriously damages the ecological environment and restricts the sustainable development of agriculture.With the rapid growth of world population,the contradiction between soil salinization and food production is increasingly prominent.The utilization of saline soil resources has become one of the important topics in soil research.In this paper,the soda saline soil in the western part of Jilin Province was taken as the research object.Phosphogypsum,corn straw biochar,earthworm dung and other wastes were used as the improvement materials.The indoor soil culture experiment was used to study the effect of the improved materials on the improvement effect of soda saline soil,and to determine the optimal improvement scheme The main research results are as follows:(1)The results of single factor test of phosphogypsum showed that with the increase of phosphogypsum dosage,soil p H,alkalinity,exchangeable sodium ion and sodium adsorption ratio decreased significantly,and the content of soil available phosphorus increased and soil fertility increased.(2)The results showed that the combined application of phosphogypsum and biochar decreased soil p H,exchangeable sodium ion,alkalinity and sodium adsorption ratio,and increased the contents of soil organic matter,available phosphorus and available potassium.The combination of 9 a3b3 had the best improvement effect,and the combination of 8% phosphogypsum and 6% corn straw biochar made the soil P lower after 60 days of application H decreased by 2.13 units,exchangeable sodium ion decreased by 50.75%,soil alkalinity decreased by 64.18%,and sodium adsorption ratio decreased by 63.61%.In the experiment,it was found that the application of biochar improved the permeability of soil and promoted the leaching of soil salt.With the passage of time,the increase of biochar content led to the decrease of soil conductivity,which had a negative impact on crop growth Favorable.(3)The results showed that the soil p H,alkalinity,exchangeable sodium ion and sodium adsorption ratio were significantly decreased,the soil nutrient content was increased,and the improvement effect was significant.Among them,the combination of 9a3b3c2 had the best improvement effect.The combination of additives was 8%phosphogypsum,6% corn straw biochar and 10% earthworm manure.After 60 days ofapplication,soil p H decreased by 2.44 units,exchangeable sodium ion decreased by50.42%,soil alkalinity decreased by 68.52%,and sodium adsorption ratio decreased by59.58%.(4)The results of Maize Seedling Growth and development test showed that a3b3c2 group had the best seedling emergence and biomass,which indicated that the optimal proportion of improved material improved the poor physical and chemical properties of soda saline soil,and was conducive to the growth and development of crops.
