The Internet of Vehicles is a research direction of the Internet of Things. It is a technology that uses moving vehicles as the research object, and uses various communication and computer technologies to realize the network connection between vehicles and vehicles, vehicles and people, vehicles and roadside units, etc. The Internet of Vehicles has important uses in intelligent driving. It can avoid collisions and reduce traffic accidents by detecting surrounding vehicle information(including relative position and speed, etc). The detection of vehicle information requires frequent data interactions. It is the key for avoiding collisions to ensure the reliability and real time of data interactions between vehicles. The Internet of Vehicles broadcast algorithms play important roles in ensuring the reliability and real time of data interactions. Thus the research of broadcasting algorithms in Internet of Vehicles and the field test of the algorithm are the focus of this article. The thesis first introduces the basic principles related to broadcast in Internet of Vehicles, including an overview of Internet of Vehicles, the research status of broadcasting algorithms in Internet of Vehicles, three common broadcasting algorithms in Internet of Vehicles, the research status of simulation platform in Internet of Vehicles and the building of our simulation platform, the research status of hardware test platform in Internet of Vehicles. Then based on the limited delay broadcast algorithm,a density-based limited delay broadcast algorithm is proposed. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed theoretically and the performance of the proposed algorithm is simulated in the scenario of high and low density of vehicle nodes. Then an auxiliary forwarding scheme in the V2I scenario is proposed, the principle of the algorithm is introduced, and the algorithm is simulated in a town block scenario. The simulation results reflect the performance of the algorithm. Finally,a field test platform for the test of broadcast algorithm in Internet of Vehicles is built and the proposed algorithms are tested by the platform. With the OpenWrt development board as the core,a practical test platform for the field test of broadcast algorithm in Internet of Vehicles is built, and the limited delay broadcasting algorithm was tested in indoor and outdoor scenes. The auxiliary forwarding scheme in the V2I scene was tested in outdoor corner scenes. The results of field test are analyzed and the reliability of the algorithm is verified by the test. The research results show that the performance of the proposed density-based limited-delay broadcast algorithm is better than that of the limited-delay broadcast algorithm in high-density and low-density scenarios. Moreover, the auxiliary forwarding mechanism in the V2I scenario also performs better in the corner scenes than the simple V2I broadcast. In addition, the results of field test are basically consistent with the simulation results, which not only reflects the availability of the test platform, but also proves the reliability of the broadcast algorithm.
