As a special bearing for axial force,thrust bearing plays an important role in automobile engine,gearbox,clutch and steering gear.With the upgrading of manufacturing industry,a series of measures to promote consumption,the continuous improvement of consumers' requirements for automobile quality and the substantial increase in the demand for automobile manufacturing related parts have prompted the production enterprises to urgently need to improve production efficiency in the process of improving product quality.However,the traditional detection method requires the inspectors to inspect,which not only consumes a lot of labor costs but also fails to meet the requirements of industrial production detection in terms of accuracy and efficiency.Based on the above problems,this thesis studies and designs a set of vehicle thrust bearing washer detection system,the main contents are as follows:(1)According to specific inspection requirements,a set of vehicle thrust bearing washer inspection system is designed to realize size inspection,defect inspection and defect classification.(2)Through the analysis of the structural characteristics of the washer and the size of the washer,the overall scheme of the detection system is proposed and the specific working process of the system is clarified.(3)Aiming at the detection problems of noise and linear defects on thewasher surface,the characteristics of each were analyzed,and the image Fourier transform and image filtering algorithm were studied.By converting the image from the frequency domain to the spatial domain,the noise features are analyzed,and the appropriate filtering method is selected to eliminate the noise on the washer surface and sharpen the linear defects.In this thesis,two-dimensional measurement rectangle and RANSAC algorithm(Random Sampling Consensus Algorithm)are studied,which are used to fit the inner and outer diameter circle contour of washer,and realize the dimension measurement of washer inner and outer diameter.Different types of defects are classified according to their geometric characteristics and different defect detection methods.(4)Using Visual Studio programming platform,combined with C#and Halcon programming,the software operating UI is designed.The feasibility and stability of the method are verified by building an experimental platform and testing the defect detection and classification methods.Through the tests and experiments,the results show that the the vehicle thrust bearing detection system based on machine vision has high detection stability,the detection accuracy meet the requirements of the enterprise and it can completely replace the manual detection,improve the quality of gasket and the detection efficiency,and it has practical application value and can be further improved and put into practical use.
