At present, ballastless track structures are commonly used in high-speed railway line operations.Under the influence of external factors such as temperature load and train load, there is a problem of poor coordination of deformation between the layer structures, which results in seams, which will undoubtedly affect the state of the layer structure and form a hidden safety hazard.Among them, the influence of the width of the seam is the biggest, especially under the condition of continuous high temperature, the expansion of the board due to the large amount of seam, which causes problems such as the unevenness of the line, and affects the safety of the train. In the routine inspection of public works, manual inspection methods such as feeler gauges and rulers are often used to measure the characteristics of the seams. The inspection efficiency and accuracy are low,and the contradiction with the short maintenance time of the "skylight" is highlighted. At the same time,in the long-term monitoring process, traditional sensor monitoring methods have many problems, such as damage to track structure, poor durability, tedious equipment installation, and expensive construction.Therefore,non-contact real-time on-line monitoring of the gap width between ballastless tracks has important theoretical significance and engineering value. This paper studies the measurement method of the width of the gap between ballastless tracks based on image processing technology, and analyzes the measurement results. The main research contents are as follows:(1)The feasibility of the traditional image processing method in the measurement of the slit width is analyzed.Based on the vision measurement method,an ideal model for measuring the width of the gap between ballastless tracks is established.Based on this model,a method for measuring the width of the gap based on monocular vision is proposed, and specific calculation steps are given.(2)Aiming at the monitoring environment of the railway site, based on the actual needs,a non-contact on-line monitoring system based on image processing was established for the width of the seam. The overall design scheme of the system is given, thehardware components of the system are introduced, and the artificial marking points suitable for the railway site are designed and identified based on the characteristics of the marking points.(3)This paper proposes a high-precision marker center location method, improves the traditional Canny edge extraction algorithm, improves the robustness of the algorithm, and verifies the superiority of the proposed method by Gaussian fitting method.A method for locating the center of a torn circle under severe environmental conditions is given.Through laboratory tests, the key parameters in the measurement are compared and analyzed to obtain the optimal measurement parameters, which verifies the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed measurement method.(4)Based on the field measured data, the statistical analysis of the variation law of the width of the gap between the layers at different positions is performed. The frequency domain analysis of the variation in the width of the slit and the meteorological parameters of the site were obtained, and the periodic correlation between the two was obtained.Based on the application of the normal distribution function, the temperature conditions that cause abnormal changes in the width of the gap between the layers are determined, and then the scientific guidance is provided.
