Grassland ecological system is one of the main types of land ecosystem,and it is important for the research of unde rstanding the total and striving for more carbon credits.And because of the lim itation of carbo n credits,getting enough share of carbon emissions in the international gam e has significant m eaningful for the development of our econom y and improvi ng people's living conditions.Thus it is very necessary for knowing the condition of carbon reserves of the grasslan d ecosystem in our country.But because the m easured datas of carbon reserves of th e grassland ecosystem is not enough at pres ent,and the common estim ation method is not accurate,so it has important significance for getting more m easured datas.We take nine community types of mountain meadow steppe that can rep resent Liaoning province as the research objects.W e analyses its biom ass and unit area carbon reserves,soil bulk density and other data.T he conclusions were as follows:1.The aboveground biom ass of the 9 co mmunity types was between 157.19 to 577.86 g·m-2,the litter biom ass was between 66.1 to 687.57 g·m-2,root biomass was between 290.33 1496.78 g·m-2,the total biom ass of vegetation was between 883.04 to 3467.10 g·m-2.The aboveground biom ass of the reed community was highest,the litter biom ass of lespedeza daurica+zizyphus jujube community was highest,the vege tation total biomass and root biom ass of arundinella anom ala were the highest,and the vegetation total biom ass,aboveground biomass,litter biomass and root biomass were the lowest.2.The biomass allocation of dif ferent community types was consistent.The relationship of biom ass allocation ra tio was root biom ass > aboveground biaomass>litter biomass.The ratio of under ground root biom ass to total biomass reached 37.67% to 74.37%,the ra tio of aboveground biomass to total biomass was 16.22% to 16.22% %,the proportion of litter biom ass to total biomass was 9.41% to 9.41%.3.The aboveground carbon storage in unit area of the 9 community types was between 6.99 to 26.55 g·m-2.The litter carbon storage in unit area was between 2.20 to 20.33 g·m-2,the root carbon storage in unit area was between 8.74 to 46.11 g·m-2.The soil carbon storage in unit area was between 4.32 to 5.45 g·m-2,the vegetation total carbon storag e in unit area was between 21.68 to 80.40 g·m-2.The aboveground carbon storag e in unit area of the reed community was highest,the litter carbon storage in unit area of lespedeza daurica+zizyphus jujube community wa s highest,the soil carbon storage in unit area and root carbon st orage in unit area of vervain fam ily+bothriochloa ischaemum were the highest,the total carbon storage in unit area of ostryopsis davidiana was the highest.The total car bon storage in unit area,root carbon storage in unit area,above ground total carbon storage in unit area and litter carbon storage in unit area of chinese w ildrye+stipa grandis were the lowest.The soil carbon storage in unit area of Chinese wildrye was the lowest.4.The same to biomass,the carbon allocat ion of different community types also had consistency.The proportion of root to total carbon storage in unit area was 30.02% to 62.20%.The ratio of aboveground to the total carbon storage in unit area was 20.46% to 57.70%.Th e ratio of litter to the total carbon storage in unit area was 7.79% to 31.01%,the propor tion of soil to the total carbon storage in unit area was 3.23% to 17.38%.5.The biomass of each part of the 9 community types and its corresp onding carbon storage in unit area had a very significant positive correlation.The relationship of root biomass,carbon storage in unit area of root and soil of 0-5 cm,5-10 cm and the corresponding soil p H value was significant negative,and the correlation analysis of soil bulk density was not significant.Carbon storage in unit area and nitrogen content of r oot and soil of 0-5c m,5-10 cm,10-20 cm had a extremely significant positive correlation.
