Chinese fir is a most important timber tree in southern China.Mostly,the decline of Chinese fir forest productivity and soil fertility exists in common,which directly affects the development of forestry in China.To sustain and improve the soil fertility and forest productivity of Chinese fir,scientific fertilization has become one of important measures of Chinese fir forest management.In recent years,the researches on fertilization of Chinese fir plantation were very much but they were mainly focused on traditional fertilizer(such as compound fertilizer,single-element fertilizer etc.),less research on the new type of fertilizer(such as slow-releasee fertilizer,release-controlled fertilizer etc.).With that,this study used the retrospective treatment scheme of slow-release fertilizer,release-controlled fertilizer and compound fertilizer and compare Chinese fir growth,young branches nutrient content and soil nutrient content after fertilization,in order to obtain the optimal fertilization scheme of Chinese fir man-made plantation,to improve the yield of Chinese fir,shorten the rotation of Chinese fir,increase the economic target of Chinese fir plantation.The results showed:? The effects on Chinese fir growth amounts of fertilization2-year-old Datie pit Chinese fir plantation:Fertilization of 50kg/mu compound fertilizer can obviously promote the growth of Chinese fir.In 2011,2011 and 2013,the average annual growth of Chinese fir's tree height,DBH and accumulation was higher than contrast treatment by 7.2%?27.6%?64.2%,11.5%?26.4%?62.3%and 4.5%?17.0%?36.2%.Effects of fertilization on DBH was better than the effects on the tree height.2-year-old Kuzhu pit Chinese fir plantation:The best effects on fertilization and the growth of Chinese fir was application of compound fertilizer.Compared with CK,the average annual growth of Chinese fir's tree height,DBH and accumulation at 2012 and 2013 with compound fertilizer increased by 20.0%?35.9%?18.4%and 15.0%?22.1%?10.6%.? The effects on soil chemical property of fertilization(1)The effects on soil pH value of fertilization:Chinese fir plantation soil pH decreased with the fertilization.2-year-old Datie pit Chinese fir plantation:Compared with CK,application of 50kg/mu compound fertilizer can mostly effect soil pH and the soil pH decreased 0.16 and 0.40 at 2011 and 2012.At 2013,application of 50kg/mu slow-release fertilizer can mostly effect soil pH and the soil pH decreased 0.10?0.07 and 0.22 compared with CK.2-year-old Kuzhu pit Chinese fir plantation:At 2011,2012 and 2013,application of release-controlled compound fertilizer can mostly effect soil pH and the soil pH decreased 2.23%?1.38%and 4.84%respectively compared with CK.(2)The effects on soil organic matter of fertilization:The organic matter content of fertilization plantation soil increased obviously.2-year-old Datie pit Chinese fir plantation:In 2011,the organic matter content of 75kg/acres slow-release fertilizer treatment plantation was the highest and it's fertilization effects was the best,higher than contrast obviously.In 2012 and 2013,the fertilization effects on 50kg/acres slow-release fertilizer was the best,higher respectively compared with CK.2-year-old Kuzhu pit Chinese fir plantation:In 201 1,the organic matter content of compound fertilizer treatment plantation was the highest,higher than CK.In 2012 and 2013,the organic matter content of controlled release compound fertilizer treatment plantation was the highest,higher respectively compared with other treatments.(3)The effects on soil nitrogen,phosphorus and potassium of fertilization:The soil content of nitrogen phosphorous and potassium increased with fertilization.2-year-old Datie pit Chinese fir plantation:In 2011 and 2012,the soil nutrient content of 75kg/acres compound fertilizer treatment plantation was the highest.In 2013,the soil total nitrogen,total phosphorus,total potassium,available nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium content of application 75kg/acers slow-release fertilizer was higher than other treatments.2-year-old Kuzhu pit Chinese fir plantation:In 2011 and 2012,the soil nutrient content of common compound fertilizer treatment plantation was the highest and the effects on fertilization of it was higher than others.In 2013,the effects on fertilization of controlled release compound fertilizer was the best and the soil nutrient content was the highest.(4)The effects on soil calcium and magnesium of fertilization:The content of exchangeable calcium,magnesium ions in soil increased obviously with fertilization.2-year-old Datie pit Chinese fir plantation:In 2011 and 2012,the content of exchangeable calcium,magnesium ions in soil of application of compound fertilizer was the highest.The content of calcium and magnesium was higher than CK obviously.In 2013,the content of exchangeable calcium,magnesium ions in soil of application of slow-release fertilizer was the highest and the fertilization effect was better than compound fertilizer.2-year-old Kuzhu pit Chinese fir plantation:In 2011,the content of exchangeable calcium,magnesium ions in soil of common compound fertilizer was the highest and the value was higher than other treatments.In 2012 and 2013,the content of calcium,magnesium in soil of controlled release compound fertilizer was the highest and the effect on fertilization was the best.? The effects on Chinese fir branches and leaves nutrient content of fertilizationThe content of nitrogen,Phosphorus,potassium,calcium and magnesium in Chinese fir branches and leaves increased with fertilization and the growth of Chinese fir promoted obviously.In 2011,the nutrient content of application compound fertilizer treatment was higher than other treatments.Application 50kg/acres and 264g/plant compound fertilizer treatment,the content of nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium,calcium and magnesium in Chinese fir branches and leaves were 4.58g/kg,1.55g/kg,12.20g/kg,10.41g/kg,3.39g/kg and 6.91g/kg,0.97g/kg,8.12g/kg,10.01g/kg,3.41g/kg.In 2012,the branches and leaves' nutrient content of fertilization treatments close to each other and the effects on fertilization were similar.In 2013,application 50kg/acres slow-release fertilizer and 264g/plant controlled release compound fertilizer treatment,the content of nitrogen,Phosphorus,potassium,calcium and magnesium in Chinese fir branches and leaves were higher than other treatments.The content values were 4.18g/kg,0.93g/kg,7.53g/kg,8.52g/kg,2.40g/kg and 4.47g/kg,0.66g/kg,4.21g/kg,7.36g/kg,2.38g/kg.
