Wheat stripe rust,caused by the infestation(Puccinia striiformis f.sp.tritici),is a worldwide airborne leaf fungal disease.Because wheat stripe rust is mainly transmitted by the atmosphere,it can spread with the airflow in the wheat growing area,resulting in a large area of wheat production and quality reduction.It has been threatened by wheat stripe rust in our country's northwest wheat area,Sichuan Chongqing wheat area and the vast eastern wheat area.In the process of stripe rust prevention and control,although there are chemical control,agricultural control and other methods,but the control effect is very small.Breeding and cultivation of stripe rust varieties are considered safe and environmentally friendly measures.However,due to the superior variability of stripe rust itself,the emergence and popularization of new races promoted the "loss" of stripe rust in wheat resistant cultivars.Therefore,it is the most important task of wheat stripe rust resistance breeding to explore and screen disease-resistant germplasm resources and rational distribution of disease resistance genes.Southern Shaanxi usually refers to the southern part of Shaanxi Province,is located in the south of the Qinling Mountains,the north of Daba Mountain and its from west to east,including Hanzhong,Ankang,Shangluo three places.The southern Shaanxi is in the southern part of Gansu Province,which is sepearately between the core of the wheat stripe fungus oversummering region and the northern part of the southern Shaanxi-Hubei-Henan wintering region,the overwintering area of the Sichuan Basin and the southern part of the southern Shaanxi-Hubei-Henan overwintering region.It plays a bridge role in the dissemination of the process.In this study,The resistance level of seedling cultivars in southern Shaanxi was identified sepearately in seedling stage and adult stage,respectively.,At the same time,the molecular detection of several known main stripe rust resistance genes Yr5,Yr10,Yr15,Yr24/ Yr26,Yr9,Yr17 and Yr18 were carried out.The results showed that the application of Yr gene in the main cultivar of southern Shaanxi was analyzed by combining the results of disease resistance identification and breeding pedigree.So as to provide a basis for rationaldistribution of wheat varieties,blocking the spread of wheat stripe rust from the west to the east,and effectively preventing the spread of wheat stripe rust.The main results obtained in this study are as follows:1.Numberofwheatentries resistant to CYR32 and CYR33 at same time is 19(34%),and only 7 wheat entries are reistant to CYR32?CYR33?V26/G22 and V26/CM42 races,about13%,entries respectively reistant to CYR32?CYR33?V26/G22?V26/CM42 are respectively22,26,8,11.2.Only 1 wheat entry is resistant to stripe rust in Yangling and susceptible in Tianshui in adult plant stage.Number of wheat entries represented resistance of all plant stage(APS)is 6(11%),and auldt plant reistance is 5(9%).3.Number of wheat entrie containing Yr9 is 3(5%),containing Yr26 is 4(7%),containing Yr10 is 2(4%).2 wheat entries,9418 and Xinong558,are gene pyramiding,and9418 containing Yr9 and Yr17,Xinong558 containing Yr9 and Yr26.Total number of wheat entries containing Yr gene is 11(20%).4.44 wheat entries,reaching up to 79%,were evaluated to have none Yr gene.
