Research On The Latitudinal Zonal Of Flower And Leaf Traits Of Endemic Woody Seed Plants In China

Species traits influenced species range size directly and indirectly.It is very important to understand the spatial pattern of species distribution and its mechanism.In this paper,based on 3497 species of Chinese endemic woody seed plants,the frequency analysis,linear regression analysis and correlation analysis were used to analyze the flower traits and leaf size traits and their distribution patterns.Results showed that:(1)Leaf sizes of Chinese endemic woody seed plants had an uneven distribution.With the increase of leaf length(width),the number of species decreased gradually,and there was a negative relationship between the total leaf length and total leaf width and latitude.(2)Flowering date of Chinese endemic woody seed plants varied with seasons.The species numbers of the early flowering date and the late flowering date showed single model along with the time axis.Both concentration times of early and late flowering dates were in May.The species numbers decreased with the increase of the flowering date;there was a negative relationship between the total flowering duration and latitude.(3)The species numbers of woody plants in China are different according to the petal colors,and their species distribution is uneven.The species numbers of 6 kinds of petal colors are as follows: white,yellow,red,green,purple and blue.The percentage of the total number of species is 43.09%,30.89%,14.45%,5.89%,and 0.97%,respectively.And the petal colors showed single model along with the increase of latitude.(4)There was a significant positive correlation between the length of flowering plants and leaf length,and there was no correlation between leaf length and leaf width.The leaf length increases gradually with flowering trees and shrubs,and the leaf length increased with the flowering period showed a trend of linear growth,and the leaf length increased flowering vines show regular changes of fluctuation.(5)There was a significant correlation between the leaf length and the species number in different petal colors color of Chinese endemic woody seed plants.Among them,there was a negative relationship between leaf length and the percentage of species number,the species include the growth type of trees such as green and white flowers,and the growth type of shrubs such as red flowers,yellow flowers,white flowers and purple flowers.The percentage of species number showed single model along with leaf length,the species include the growth type of trees such as red flower,yellow flowers,and the growth type of lianas such as white flower,red flowers,yellow flowers and purple flowers.There was no relationship between leaf length and the percentage of species number,the species include the growth type of shrubs such as green flowers,blue flowers,the growth type of lianas such green flowers.(6)There was a significant correlation between the leaf width and the species number in different petal colors color of Chinese endemic woody seed plants.Among them,there was a negative relationship between leaf width and the percentage of species number,the species include the growth type of trees such as white flowers,red flowers,yellow flowers,and the growth type of shrubs such as white flowers,red flowers,yellow flowers,green flowers,purple flowers,the species include the growth type of lianas such as white flowers,red flowers,yellow flowers,green flowers.There was no relationship between leaf length and the percentage of species number,the species include the growth type of trees such as green flowers,the growth type of shrubs such as blue flowers,the growth type of lianas such as purple flowers.(7)There was a significant correlation between the flowering date and the species number in different petal colors color of Chinese endemic woody seed plants.There was a negative relationship between flowering date and the percentage of species number,the species include the growth type of trees such as white flowers,yellow flowers,red flowers,and the growth type of shrubs such as white flowers,red flowers,yellow flowers,purple flowers,the species include the growth type of lianas such white flowers,yellow flowers,green flowers.There was no relationship between flowering date and the percentage of species number,the species include the growth type of trees such as green flowers,the growth type of shrubs such as green flowers,blue flowers,the growth type of lianas such as red flowers,purple flowers.
