Arctium lappa L.,two-year-old herb of Arctium,roots and ripe fruit of which were commonly used as Chinese herbal medicines.Jianyang,Sichuan Province,is real estate area of the burdock,and in which the production of burdock get full kernel,excellent quality.In recent years,due to the existing cultivation of burdock population mixed,long-term cultivation of resources only choose the situation led to very unstable herbs yield and quality,and quality of burdock seriously degenerate.In view of the above problems,according to the systematic breeding principle,new breed of burdock was carried out.The aim of this study was to select the new varieties of burdock with high quality and yield,which could provide theoretical basis for the standardization of burdock field.The main findings are as follows:1 New strains CNB-1 of burdock,seedling stage of 15-20 days,growth period of 300-310 days and flowering fruit bearing stage of 55-65 days,compared with the control strain CK1,new strains CNB-1 of burdock has the advantage of early emergence and short growth period.2 Plant height 1.7-1.9 m,stems erect,stout,sparse papillae short hair and long spider hair,with purple red edge,branches ramp up.Basal leaves broadly ovate,ca.35 cm,broadly 23 cm,leaf margin shallowly wavy,with pointed tips,leaf base cordate,grayish,densely spider-like villous and yellow gland;cauline leaves ovate to broadly Shaped,long 15-20 cm,width 10-13 cm,leaves base flat to heart-shaped,dense spider-like villi and yellow gland.Petiole length 20 cm.Head numerous,small purple,tubular,corolla ca.lcm,lobes ca.2 mm,anthers and styles extending beyond corolla.Flower and fruit from May to July,the ball diameter of about 16.54 mm,the number of fruit balls about 450,1000 grain weight of about 11.43 g.Fruit was long ovate to skewed long ovate,long 5-6 mm,wide 2-3 mm,light brown.3 Average yield per mu of new strains CNB-1 of burdock is 154.7 kg/mu from 2014 to 2015,and the characters of effective ingredients(burdock glycosides)content is 7.30%,which conform to requirements of the law of the People's Republic of China pharmacopoeia(2015 edition).4 Through processing the burdock seedlings under NaHCO3 and cadmium stress,The results show that the growth of the seedlings of burdock could be promoted with low NaHCO3 and cadmium concentrations,while with higher NaHCO3 and cadmium concentration,burdock seedlings show the tolerance of a certain degree by autogenous regulation.The maximum tolerated concentration of NaHCO3 of burdock seedlings was 160 mmol/L-1 and that of cadmium was 2.0 mmol/L-1...
