The quality of forest seed is essential to ensure the quality of afforestation,Selection of genetic quality breeding material to afforestation,can make full use of the natural production potential,achieve fast growing and high yielding forest trees,improve product quality and quality,enhance forest resistance,and give full play to the multi-function and benefit of forest.Selective breeding is the most commonly used t and one of the most effective breeding method in improvemen of the forest tree,it is based on phenotypic selection,however,phenotype is a combination of genetic and environmental factors,generally,the environmental effects are not heritable,but it mixed up with genetic variation.Therefore,it is not comprehensive to evaluate the inheritance of forest tree according to the phenotype.It is of great significance for the development of fine varieties and production groups to carry out genetic testing,to eliminate environmental bias and improve the accuracy of selection.In this paper,I studied the genetic variation,genetic correlation between traits and genetic parameters about the champion tree progeny test stand of 119 family stage sapling forest and mid-maturation forest in the country cupressus funebris seed base at Sichuan Province Santai County Jingu village.And,combination Duncan new full range test,Analysis of performance level.Analysis of relative effect value of general combining ability,and Breeding value evaluation method analysis on the young forest stage cupressus funebris plantation of height and ground diameter trait and middle age forest period of excellent family volume characters,and superior individual selection.The main Research sresults are as follows.?.Analysis of the family variance showed,there are significant differences in tree height,DBH,crown width,crown diameter or diameter ratio and volume of cupressus funebris among cupressus funebris families(p<0.05)in young and middle age forest.however,there were significant differences in height diameter ratio in young forest,and there was no significant difference in middle age(p>0.05).?.Genetic parameter estimation results show,young forest and middle-aged forest of tree growth characters and traits except the high diameter ratio index of cupressus funebris family,other variation coefficient is above 20%,this shows that there is abundant variation between cupressus funebris families,and there is great potential for selection.The cupressus funebris tree height,DBH,crown diameter or the family heritability of young forest period was significantly higher than the family heritability in middle age period,this shows that with tree height,DBH,crown size growth,family heritability in getting smaller.Overall,heritability of growth traits of progeny was higher than that of tree characters,the results showed that the growth traits were affected by heredity and higher than that of tree character.The growth characters of cupressus funebris generation test plantation have obvious genetic gain in young and middle age forest,young forest tree high genetic gain is 9.53%,the middle age forest tree height,DBH and volume genetic gain were 5.25%,3.14%,11.54%.however,there are obvious genetic gains of tree traits in young forest,crown width,height to diameter ratio and crown diameter ratio genetic gain were 6.13%,2.68%,4.10%,middle age forest genetic gain is not obvious,crown width,Height to diameter ratio and crown diameter ratio genetic gain were 0.78%,1.27%,-1.73%.Moreover,the genetic gain of growth traits was higher than that of tree traits.Therefore,in the cupressus funebris family selection,with growth traits as the index is more reasonable.?.Correlation analysis showed,cupressus funebris has a strongly positive correlation between the growth traits of young forest and middle-aged forest stage.The young forest crown period and growth traits also has a strong relationship,in the period of forest crown and weak positive correlation between gro.Awth traits,the results showed that the genetic factors were weaker with age.Moreover,correlation between crown width and growth traits was significantly weaker than the correlation between growth traits.There was a negative correlation between height to diameter ratio,crown diameter ratio and growth traits.The crown and crown diameter ratio showed a strong positive correlation.The negative correlation between the diameter and crown diameter ratio.Positive correlation between tree height and height diameter ratio.Negative correlation between diameter and height diameter ratio.?.8 excellent families were selected with the index of the height of 9 years old,11 excellent families were selected with the index of the 9 years old,18 excellent families were were selected from the 22 Excellent Families.The average tree height was 9.3m,the average DBH was about 12cm,and the average plant volume was about 0.0500m3,it is higher than the good family average,the actual gain is 38.6%?55.0%?174.0%.Cupressus funebris family abundant genetic variation can be selected superior families selected and excellent plant can be used as seed orchard thinning operations culled,the penalty scheme to further improve the genetic improvement of the cupressus funebris basis,can use its parent materials for further improvement of the construction of garden seed
