The small watershed of Zhuxi is a typical area of soil erosion in the red soil region of southern China. The traditional soil erosion research is mainly based on low resolution remote sensing images,This paper study the soil erosion factor obtaining the sub-meter remote sensing image, which is combined with the data of river basin soil, rainfall data and 1:10000 DEM basing on the Chinese soil loss equation. The dynamic monitoring and quantitative analysis of soil erosion in Zhuxi small watershed in 2011 and 2014 were carried out.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1)Image Classification for Application of Soil Erosion and Biological measures factor Estimation.Basing on high resolution satellite remote sening images,The paper Conducts land use cover classification for soil erosion applications and make Detection and extraction of the target features, spectrum, texture, the relationship between objects and other characteristics, which extract the objects of the target feature according to the differences between them. The paper uses the pixel binary model to estimate the vegetation coverage based on the normalized vegetation and Estimates the biological measures factor with the image classification results. The results show:Using object-oriented classification strategy, and using the parallel computing method,is more efficient realization of the entire image classification processing.Since 2001 to 2014,the vegetation coverage of the Zhuxi River Basin has increased in general. At the same time,it can be found that the vegetation coverage estimated by the high resolution image has an obvious advantage over the vegetation coverage based on the OLI data.2)Engineering measure factor-related information remote sensing extraction.Fourier transform can transform the remote sensing image from the spatial domain to the frequency domain. The energy in the spectrum is superimposed in the direction perpendicular to the original image,so we use the maximum direction of the spectrum energy value and the ratio of all direction values with slope and Vegetation Index to study on extraction of terraced fields with texture features. The results show:the paper use the maximum spectral energy ratio in the image frequency domain combination of spectral values to extract terraces improving the classification accuracy to a certain degree, which is reaching 78.21%.3)Effectiveness evaluation of soil erosion control in zhuxi river basin. The peper estimates of soil erosion modulus in the study area according to the Chinese soil erosion equation model and analyzes the dynamic changes of soil erosion distribution and range in zhuxi river basin in 2011 and 2014.Experiments show that:Overall, soil erosion was significantly reduced over the three years between 2011 and 2014.The application of high resolution remote sensing image to the dynamic monitoring of soil erosion has advantages. In the dynamic monitoring of soil erosion results,we can see that using high-resolution remote sensing images can identify the details of soil erosion.Such as the southern part of the basin along the road construction of mild soil erosion is more serious, which fully reflects the high score remote sensing image data resources in the soil erosion monitoring advantages.
