This paper selected six colorful park plants in Qinhuangdao as the research object.Using field investigation method and AHP method to study the colorful leafy plants in the park green space in Qinhuangdao city.The main findings are as follows:(1)From the perspective of plant species,there were 55 species of 27 families and 42 genera in Qinhuangdao colorful plants,including 28 kinds of colorful arbors,20 kinds of colorful leaves and shrubs,3 kinds of colorful leaf vines,and 4 kinds of colorful leafy herbs,accounting for 50.9%,36.4%,5.5%,7.2% of the total.There were 6 kinds of spring leaves,28 kinds of autumn leaves,and 22 kinds of regular leaves,which accounted for 11%,51% and40% of the total,respectively.Meanwhile,there were 19 yellow plants,1 blue plants,7 purple plants,23 red plants,and 5 polychromatic plants.(2)From the perspective of adaptability,there were 28 species with excellent adaptability,25 species with good adaptability,2 species with general adaptability and 0 species with poor adaptability in Qinhuangdao Park.Among them,33 species were native species,accounting for 60% of the total,and 22 species were introduced,accounting for 40% of the total.(3)From the perspective of the application frequency of color leaf plants,there were 13 kinds of colorful leaf plants with f?80%,accounting for 24% of the total;11 kinds of colorful leaf plants with 80%>f?50%,accounting for 20% of the total;There were 25 species of colorful leaf plants with f<50,accounting for 56% of the total number,and most of the colorful plants had a low frequency of application.(4)In Qinhuangdao city park,the application forms of colorful leaf plants were diversity,mainly including solitary planting,cluster planting,group planting,color fence pattern flower bed and vertical greening.(5)The evaluation system of color-leaf plant landscape in Qinhuangdao Park was constructed by analytic hierarchy process(AHP).In the selected 30 plots,Among the 30 sample plots selected,there were 6 Grade I color plant landscapes,19 Grade II,5 Grade III,and 0 Grade IV,accounting for 20%,63%,17% and 0%,respectively.In total,the aesthetic effect of the colorful plant landscape of Qinhuangdao Park greenery is at a medium preference level.(6)For the current problems of color-leaf plants,the proposed optimization proposal is to consider increasing the color leaf plant species,and the adaptation of the introduced species to domestication can be enhanced,and breeding of fine species can be carried out;To promote the application of local colorful leaf plants in Qinhuangdao area;in the allocation of colorful plants,to fully grasp the plant's ecological habits,meanwhile,to improve the level of post-conservation management,so that color plants to play the best ecological benefits.
