With the development of science and technology,the traditional pig breeding mode is changing to the modern refined farming mode.Pork is the traditional meat of our people.Pork consumption accounts for about half of the world’s total output,and occupies a considerable proportion in the meat food structure.Body temperature is the basic index to judge the health status of the body.Maintaining a constant body temperature is a necessary condition to ensure the normal progress of metabolism and life activities.If the body temperature of a pig is abnormal,the physiological function of the pig is disturbed.In many diseases,especially some infectious diseases,the symptoms of temperature rise often appear earlier than other symptoms.Therefore,body temperature is one of the indispensable bases for diagnosing porcine body diseases.The main methods for measuring the body temperature of fur animals are rectal temperature,electronic temperature measurement and non-contact temperature measurement.Rectal temperature measurement is difficult to obtain the body temperature data of each sow in real time and accurately,and is low in efficiency and long in temperature measurement time,and is not suitable for large-scale breeding.And the infrared thermal imager can receive infrared radiation from animal surface,can accurately obtain the temperature distribution on the surface of the body.For livestock,using infrared thermal imager to measure the body temperature has the characteristics of non-contact,accurate measurement and rapid measurement,which overcomes the shortcomings of traditional temperature measurement methods and will not cause stress to livestock.In this experiment,a pig environment monitoring system based on the internet of things was built,which realized the real-time rapid detection of pig body temperature change.The system uses temperature,humidity,illumination and gas sensors as sensing devices to obtain various information about the environment of pig houses.The information is processed by gigabit network,and the environment data of pig houses is collected.The basic method of image processing is used to realize the threshold judgment,pattern recognition,temperature information extraction and correction.It can achieve automatic detection of the temperature of the live pigs.
