The Cyprinus carpio haematopterus and the Carassius auratus var.Qihe are both well-known cultured species in Henan Province and even in China. They have excellent traits, superior varieties, delicious taste, high economic value and nutritional value. At present, both in the aquaculture industry and academic research fields, both the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus and the Carassius auratus var.Qihe are the breeding and research hotspots in recent years. Both of these high-quality economic fishes are Osteichthyes,Cypriniformes,Cyprinidae, and Cyprininae. The origin of the Carassius auratus var.Qihe is Qihe River in Hebi City,Henan Province. It is a triploid carp that is a natural gynogenesis and belongs to one of the subspecies of silver carp. The generosity of its back is significant. The morphological characteristics of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus were named after the Yellow River Basin. The study showed that the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus plover belongs to an ecological population and its external morphology is similar to that of the common squid, with the most significant difference being the "golden scale tail" of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus. At present, research on the Carassius uratus var.Qihe has made some achievements in population differences, breeding culture, nutrition regulation, and disease prevention and epidemic prevention. In recent years,it has been done in the fields of regulation and growth patterns of muscle growth factors and gender heteromorphism.A breakthrough has been made;and the research on the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus has been carried out earlier and deeper.Whether it is systematic taxonomy, genetics, physiological and biochemical characteristics or breeding habits, etc.,a series of explorations have been made and corresponding research results have been obtained. At present, basic researches on the growth traits of the Carassius uratus var.Qihe and the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus have not been sufficient. The skeletal structure characteristics of these two fishes are rarely reported, especially the descriptive research on the head bones. No relevant reports have been reported at home and abroad. In this experiment, bone descriptive and statistical studies were performed on the dissected skulls of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus and the Carassius auratus var.Qihe by using a combination of traditional morphological analysis methods and statistical analysis methods. This further explores the skeletal morphology of these two species of fish and fills in gaps in the descriptive and statistical studies of the skulls of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus and the Carassius auratus in Qihe river, complements their basic research data, and provides morphological characteristics for the future.Provide support materials for further research on morphological characteristics in the future. After dissecting the skull of the Carassius auratus var.Qihe and making specimens by conventional methods, the traditional morphological analysis method was used, and the measured data were analyzed statistically. The statistical analysis software used to process the data was SPSS22.0.The total number of bones forming the head of the Carassius auratus var.Qihe was found to be about 125,and i Its skull structural features are in line with its taxonomic status. The division of the head skeleton also confirms its relevance to the Habitat and other habits and habitats of the Carassius auratus var.Qihe.The morphological features of the main bone fragments represented by the following pharyngeal and hypopharyngeal teeth were statistically analyzed and processed. It was found that the combination of the hypopharyngeal and hypopharynx teeth had some occlusal and cutting abilities. The main line of teeth strengthened the cutting force, resulting in a larger food intake of the Carassius auratus var.Qihe, which was consistent with the feeding habits of the partial herbivorous omnivorous food. The descriptive and statistical studies on the skeletal structure of the head of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus cranium were conducted in the same manner as the study of the skull of the Carassius auratus var.Qihe.The image processing and data measurement software was Adobe Photoshop CS5.Studies have shown that the skull of head of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus is composed of about 133 bones, which is similar to the head bones of most carp fishes. The higher skeletal integrity of the head indicates that it has a higher degree of evolution than the Carassius auratus var.Qihe and is a more evolved species in the carps. There is a certain relationship between the ecological habits such as feeding habits, swimming ability, and inhabited waters of the the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus, and the overall shape of the skull, which is slender and small. The composition of each bone in the head of the Cyprinus carpio haematopterus is compatible with its corresponding characteristics, and it is confirmed as an ecological population through the skeletal morphology. While identifying their evolutionary levels and development patterns,a comparative analysis of head skeletal structures of fish belonging to different populations of carp species was conducted. It shows that its unique morphological characteristics can be used as one of the reasons for identifying the interspecies differences.
