This study aimed at cool semiarid region of natural conditions and climate characteristics,widely collect the introduction of shrub tree species,using selective breeding,domesticated,such as conventional breeding methods,select suitable for growth of the region ecological adaptability is stronger or higher economic value and ornamental value of shrub tree species,and excellent shrub tree species breeding and cultivation techniques of research,in order to achieve the purpose of "Excellent breed and Proper method".The study choose the introduction of shrub species 23 varieties(strains),build experimental forest of introduction,after eight years of experimental research,the introduction of the growth index survey;The cold resistance,drought resistance and disease resistance of tree species were studied.The phenology of tree species was observed.The research on the technology of cuttings and seedlings was carried out for different tree species.The results of the study are presented below:① In the western semi-arid areas of heilongjiang province,spring soil moisture content 10.1%the left and right sides,35℃,extreme minimum temperature-under the condition of annual rainfall 376.8 mm,In the long white honeysuckle population,it has been successfully selected to have the orange fruit type of the nonsexual system-Lonicera ruprechtiana No.l,and carried out the seedling and cultivation,showing good adaptability and landscape effect.At the same time,successfully introduced the two ecological economical shrub species,Shepherdia argentea and Prunus besseyi,which are native to American,has the characteristics of strong adaptability,can be normal growth,and flowering.They can be used for the construction of sand prevention,the fruits can be edible,also have the ornamental value,can also be used in the garden greening.②It has successfully introduced the species such as Lonicera tatarica,Caragana frutex and Tamarix austromongolica,which are suitable for afforesting in the high and cold areas of Heilongjiang province,screen out species such as Caragana ussuriensis and Caragana korshinskii,which have enriched the landscape afforestation,ecological engineering and sand management tree in this area.③ Different breeding techniques were used to breed the cultivars,This paper summarizes the technique of cuttings and cuttings suitable for different varieties.In the experimental variety,the cuttings and cuttings were better in five varieties,It is Prunus besseyi,Lonicera maackii,Caragana frutex,Caragana ussuriensis and Conus alba.In addition,there are seven twig cutting effect good varieties,respectively is Shepherdia argentea,Lonicera ruprechtiana No.1,Lonicera tatarica,Weigela florida(Bge.)A.DC,Weigela florida cv.Red Prince,Weigela praecox(Lemoine)and Syringa villosa;The cuttings are good and there are two varieties:Tamarix austromongolica and Tamarix ramosissima.④In this paper,the species of honeysuckle in the semi-arid regions of the cold temperate zone,the seedlings of the Prunus besseyi,and the cuttings of the hard branches are planted in the wet season.The use value of testing varieties,the study for the semi-arid regions sand prevention,landscaping,economic forest construction provides a tree species of important application value.
