The health of fur-bearing animals has always been a major concern for farmers.Healthy animals can produce high-quality fur, which brings great economic value to farms and provides consumers with the best fur products. However, the fur animals have been suffering from various diseases. This paper aims to list the common diseases and gives some advice about prevention and treatment. In the laboratory,we culture pathogens;broth medium for bacteria,F81 cells and vero cells for the virus,SDA medium for the fungi, and MDCK cells for the microspore. The nucleic acids(DNA or RNA)were extracted from these pathogens, amplified by PCR,and the amplified products were cloned. The positive clones were picked and sent to a sequencing company for sequencing and identification. For other pathogenic factors,it can be combined with the usual production management and laboratory diagnosis to obtain accurate judgments.Three major viral diseases of fur animals are CD,parvovirus, and Aleutian disease.A total of 49 suspected CD are collected from three kinds of animals from 2009 to 2015.CDV specific primers are used for detection, the results are 22 positive, accounting for 44.90%.From 2009 to 2010,6 samples of parvovirus disease are collected from the mink, the target band of about 570 bp is amplified by using the mink specific primers of mink parvovirus.Between 2009 and 2017,about 5 million minks are detected using confluent immunoelectrophoresis, and the positive rate of each farm ranges from 0 to 90%.The main bacterial disease in fur animals is vesiculorrhagic pneumonia caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Among the 48 Pseudomonas aeruginosa strains, there are 30 Pseudomonas aeruginosa G types,10 Pseudomonas aeruginosa C types, and 5 Pseudomonas aeruginosa B types,3 G + B mixed infection;Klebsiella pneumoniae and E.coli can also cause hemorrhagic pneumonia, the positive results are 6 and 5.To distinguish them,we need use molecular biology. In addition, there are food-borne diseases caused by other bacterias and nitrites,as well as erythroid and Streptococcus suis infections, and fungal diseases in fur animals. In summary, the major infectious diseases of fur animals have not been completely controlled.New and existing food-borne diseases are also potential pathogenic factors that have damaged the health of fur animals in recent years.
