Natural rubber has strong elasticity,good insulation,plasticity,water barrier,and gas barrier properties then become an important industrial raw material and strategic material in China and even the whole world.Scale insect is the main pests to damage rubber trees,example,Parasaissetia nigra Nietner once had a large area of outbreak in the planting in Yunnan,causing serious economic losses.Parasaissetia nigra lives and feeds on the leaves and branches of the host trees,they secrete the wax can not only resist the invasion of bad external factors,but also prevent the infiltration of pesticides,making it difficult to carry out chemical control.However,the population of Parasaissetia nigra Nietner in natural rubber plantations is significantly affected by other insects.For example,Metaphycus parasaissetiae is the parasitic natural enemy of Parasaissetia nigra Nietner;Crematogaster rogenhoferi is the predatory natural enemy of Parasaissetia nigra Nietner;Tapinoma melanocephalum has a symbiotic relationship with Parasaissetia nigra Nietner.In order to investigate the relationship between these insects,gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC/MS)was used in this paper to study the components of the secretions from Parasaissetia nigra Nietner,Crematogaster rogenhoferi and Tapinoma melanocephalum;and using "Y" smell meter and tentacles potentiometer to test behavioral activity of the secretions of Parasaissetia nigra Nietner,Crematogaster rogenhoferi,Tapinoma melanocephalum and Metaphycus parasaissetiae.The results are as follows:1.The gas chromatography/mass spectrometry was used to detect the Parasaissetia nigra Nietner secretion samples with n-hexane as the extraction solvent,the secretion sample retention time is concentration between 11.43min?45.28 min.After retrieval in the library,they were contained 44 components,compound carbon atom number for C7?C31 microcomputer,including 23 species of saturated hydrocarbon,2 kinds of alcohols,6 kinds of esters,2 kinds of phenols and 1 kind of aromatic hydrocarbon,3 kinds of aldehydes,2 kinds of acids,3 kinds of heterocyclic compounds and 2 kinds of ethers.The highest concentration was 2,4-ditert-butyl phenol,accounting for 27%of the total.The lowest content is dodecane and lauraldehyde,each accounting for 0.02%of the total content.2.Using gas chromatography/mass spectrometry techniques to detect the Crematogaster rogenhoferi secretions samples from extracted by ethanol as the solvent,the secretion samples retention time is concentration between 4.99min?34.26 min.After retrieval in the spectrum library,they were contained 8 components,and the number of carbon atoms in the compound was C8?C28,3 kinds of saturated hydrocarbons,2 kinds of esters,2 kinds of phenols and 1 kinds of ketones.The highest content was ethyl stearate,accounting for 34.12%of the total.The lowest content was 2,6,10,14-tetramethyl hexadecane,accounting for 0.36 percent of the total.3.The gas chromatography/mass spectrometry technique was used to detect the Tapinoma melanocephalum secretion samples extracted from ethanol.The retention time of the secretion samples was between 4.92min and 34.09min.After retrieval in the spectrum library,they were contained 11 components,the number of carbon atoms in the compound was C8?C28,7 kinds of saturated hydrocarbons,2 kinds of phenols,1 kinds of esters and 1 kinds of ketones.The highest content was dodecane,accounting for 36.08%of the total.The lowest content was ethyl stearate,accounting for 0.21%of the total content.4.Using 5 components of Parasaissetia nigra Nietner secretion as 2,4-ditert-butyl phenol,nonaldehyde,stigmasterol,ethyl palmitate,and octadecanol to test with electrophysiological reaction and behavioral response on Crematogaster rogenhoferi,Tapinoma melanocephalum and Met.aphycus parasaissetiae,the results show that octacosane alcohol and 2,4-2 tertiary butyl phenol had attraction to Crematogaster rogenhoferi,octacosane alcohol was better in attraction than 2,4-2 tertiary butyl phenol;The ethyl palmitate has attraction to Tapinoma melanocephalum;Octacosanol and palmitic acid ethyl ester had attraction to Metaphycus parasaissetiae,octacosanol was better in attraction than palmitic acid ethyl ester.5.Using 8 components of Crematogaster rogenhoferi secretion as 6-methyl-heptene 5-2-ketone,2,4-2 ethyl tertiary butyl phenol,palmitic acid,stearic acid ethyl ester,2,6,10,14-tetramethyl hexadecane,tricosane,(Z)-,3-(Heptadec-10-en-1-yl)phenol,13-methyl heptacosane to test with electrophysiological reaction and behavioral response on Metaphycus parasaissetiae and Tapinoma melanocephalum,the results showed that ethyl palmitate is temptation attractive to Metaphycus parasaissetiae,and ethyl palmitate is temptation attractive to Tapinoma melanocephalum.6.Using 11 components of Tapinoma melanocephalum secretion as 6-methyl-heptene 5-2-ketone,2,4-2 tertiary butyl phenol,n-heneicosane,stearic acid ethyl ester,docosane,tricosane,lignocerane,hexacosane,2,6,10,14-tetramethyl hexadecane,(Z)-,3-(Heptadec-10-en-1-yl)phenol,13-methyl heptacosane to test with electrophysiological reaction and behavioral response on Metaphycus parasaissetiae and Crematogaster rogenhoferi.The results showed that 11 components have no effect on 2 kinds of experiments insects,but there are 4 components of Tapinoma melanocephalum secretions as n-heneicosane,docosane,lignocerane and hexacosane to have repellent effect on Crematogaster rogenhoferi.
