In this experiment, four kinds of dietary formula of Tan sheep with different forage to concentrate ratios were prepared under the condition of house feeding. The effects of different forage to concentrate ratios on the production performance and meat quality of Tan sheep were studied by feeding experiment and slaughtering experiment. To provide theoretical basis for the healthy growth of Tan sheep and improve its meat quality and production performance. This experiment mainly includes the following aspects:Test 1 Effect of Forage to Concentrate Ratios on Production Performance and Meat Quality of Tan SheepA total of 16 health wether(5 months)were assigned randomly to 4 groups, with 4 sheep in each group. Each group was fed with different ration of concentrate-roughage.The ration of concentrate-roughage is groupl 1:9,grouP? 2:8,group?3:7,grouP?4:6.The experiment was conducted with 15d for adaptation and 60d for trial,2 times a day feeding. The results showed that was significant difference in average daily gain and heart girth feeding forage to concentrate ratios3:7(P?0.05),reduced the shearing force, cooking loss, water loss rate of mutton and improved meat quality.Test 2 Effect of Forage to Concentrate Ratios on Rumen Bacteria in Tan SheepAt the beginning, the middle and the end of the feeding trial, the rumen fluid samples were collected for the determination of rumen bacteria and vibrio fibrinolyticus. The results shoeed that the number of operational taxonomic units(OTU)was the highest in grou?pand the lowest in group?at the trial, which indicated that the abundance of bacteria in rumen increased to some extent with the increase of concentrate ratio. When higher than a certain range, rumen bacterial richness decreased. At the middle,The abundance of vibrio fibrinolyticus increased than that in the early stage. The group ? was the largest, but no significant difference(P>0.05).The group ?was the lowest. At the end of the trial, the proportion of group ? was still the largest, and that of group ? was the smallest.Overall, the forage to concentrate ratio 3:7 was beneficial to maintain the internal homeostasis of rumen microbial flora and maintain rumen health.Test 3 Effect of Forage to Concentrate Ratios on the content of blood SCD,FAS and conjugated Iinoleic acid in muscle and fat of Tan sheepAt the beginning, middle and end of feeding experiment, blood was collected and the content of FAS and SCD was determined. At the end of the feeding experiment,3 sheep were slaughtered randomly in each group, and muscle and fat were collected and conjugated linoleic acid content was determined. The results show that the content of SCD was the lowest in group ? and the highest in group?at the end of the trial. The order was group?? group ? ? group??group ?.The results showed that the diet fed at 3:7 was beneficial to increase the SCD content in blood of Tan sheep. The blood FAS content of group? was the highest in the middle and end of the trial, the lowest in group ?,but no significantly different from other groups(P>0.05).The content of FAS in groupIV increased the most. The content of CLA in group? was the highest, followed by group ?,group IV and group ?.The content of CLA in subcutaneous fat was the highest in group Illand the lowest in group ?.On the whole, the forage to concentrate ratio for increasing the content of CLA in muscle and subcutaneous fat of Tan sheep was 3:7.In summary, the diet of forage to concentrate ratio 3:7 can improve the meat quality,as well as the content of CLA in muscle and subcutaneous fat in Tan sheep.
