As a traditional tropical fruit, mangoes?Mangiferaindica L.?has been favoured by people. There are four main producing areas of mangoes in the Chinese Mainland?Hainan Province, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Zhuang Autonomous Region,Yunnan Province and Panzhihua city?.Besides, there are also some small-scale cultivation of mangoes in Fujian Province. As the high-value agricultural products, method for tracing should be developed for mangoes that from different geographical origins. The mangoes used in this paper were from four different origin?Hainan Province, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region,Yunnan Province and Panzhihua city?.Based on the differences in DNA barcoding, chemical properties?stability isotopes, volatile components, and mineral content?and spectral characteristics?Raman and Fourier transform infrared?,new methods of tracing were explored. These results provided the oretical basis in the food traceability. The main results were as follows:1.The DNA sequence of mangoes from different origin was determined.A phylogenetic tree and using DNA barcoding as an aid to trace the origin of fresh mangoeses was established.2.Four isotope content of?13C,?15N,?18O,?2H in mangoes from different origin was determined. The four isotope content of samples from Hainan Province were significantly different from the samples of other three places.According to the discriminant analysis, the initial discriminant rate of the model based on isotope index was 81.3%,and the accuracy of cross-validation was 62.5%.The discriminant equation of the origin was established.3.The volatile components data of mangoes from different origin and get 104kinds of volatile components.According to the discriminant analysis, the initial discriminant rate of the model based on volatile components was 94.7%,and the accuracy of cross-validation was 31.6%.The discriminant equation of the origin by principal component analysis, cluster analysis and discriminant analysis was established.4.The mineral elements content of different parts of mangoes?peel, seed coat, seed?were determined. The discriminant equation of origin was established. The initial discriminant rate of the model was 100.0%,88.0%,84.6%and the accuracy of cross-validation was 26.1%,20.0%,46.2%.5.According to the Raman spectroscopy, the characteristic peaks(located at1006 cm-1,1520-1525 cm-1 and 1162 cm-1)were found out.The origin of mangoes based on the PCA pattern recognition method was identified.6.According to the Fourier transform infrared, the moving of the characteristic peaks were found out.Blue shift was found in first characteristic peak of mangoeses from Hainan Province.Red shift was found in third characteristic peak of mangoes from Panzhihua city.7.Two or more characteristic indicators were selected for establishing a comprehensive origin identification model.According to the discriminant analysis, the initial discriminant rate of the model was 87.0%,and the accuracy of cross-validation was 91.3%.Multiple coupling discriminant model were got.Y?Guangxi?=-2782.62X1-1963.46X2-15.91X3-74.37X4-1491.12X5+281.96X6-657.97X7+28.33X8-1195.36Y?Hainan?=24901.72X1+11506.29X2+279.80X3-177.79X4+7668.00X5-216.04X6-1490.64X7-188.11X8-49047.41Y?Panzhihua?=-6504.15X1-1032.91X2-121.72X3+321.62X4-156.24X5-691.30X6+2790.82X7+34.60X8-3147.21Y?Yunnan?=-2665.54X1-1902.73X2-10.23X3-74.47X4-1449.23X5+273.58X6-657.03X7+19.54X8-1126.32?X1,X2,X3,X4,X5,X6,X7,X8 were the standardized results of the content of5-hexyldihydro-2?3H?-Furanone,3,7-dimethyl-2,6-Octadien-1-ol,?E?-2-Hexenal,?1?,4a?,8a??-1,2,3,4,4a,5,6,8a-octahydro-7-methyl-4-methylene-1-?1-methylethyl?-Naphthalene,Trichloromethane,Zn,Sr in the seed and Ga in the peel?.
