In 2013,the first document of the central committee first proposed to encourage and support the development of family farms and other new business entities.at the same time,under the background of collective forest right reform land management right is released,the scale of forest land circulation is expanded,and the farmers’ will to develop forestry have become stronger and stronger.In the practice of exploring forestry management in different regions of China,the household forest farm and other forestry-based new management subjects came into being.From the definition of the scholars and the certification standards of the provinces,the family forest farms are still based on family management,which can stimulates the production enthusiasm of the farmers and increases the income of the farmers.With the guidance and support of national policies,family forestry farm has been flourishing throughout China.In 2015,Gansu province took the lead in carrying out the certification and registration of family forest farms nationwide.It also promotes the employment of surrounding farmers.Family Forest Farms are new things.Therefore,the domestic researches on family forest farm are relatively weak,and the research on the influencing factors of family forest farm development is even less,and there is also a lack of relevant empirical studies.Therefore this paper starts from promoting the healthy and sustainable development of family forest farms in Gansu province and makes deeper study on the development of family forest and its influencing factors.This paper takes the family forest farm in Gansu Province as the research object,and through the actual investigation of the family forest farms in ten sample districts of Gansu Province,the questionnaires are used to get real and effective data materials.The Statistic shows: Firstly the overall development of the family forest in Gansu province is well developed with a rapid growth in quantity.And the management domain is extensive.the management pattern is diversified,the management benefit gradually appears,the aware of family forest farm are optimistic to manage it.Secondly,under the encouragement and support of national policy and the operator’s practical exploration,the new business entities are grown together to expend,the product chain and deepen development,the trend of intergration and ecological sustainable development gradually revealed.Thirdly,the development of family forest farms in GanSu province is severe challenges such as lack of occupational family forest farms,shortage of funds,poor financing channels,imperfect forest land circulation mechanism,weak infrastructure conditions and imperfect social service system.The empirically analysis,based on the analysis of the current status and existing problems of family forestry in Gansu province,sorts out the influencing factors of the development of family forest farms in GanSu province and constructs the index system of influencing factors.And factor analysis was used to empirically analyze the influencing factors of family forest farms in Gansu Province,and it was concluded that the development of family forest farms in Gansu Province was affected by household factors and internal management factors(financial factors forestland factors,technical factors)and external environmental factors(market factors,policy factors).The degree of these three aspects are external environmental factors> internal management factors> family factors.Finally,it puts forward some feasible suggestions such as improving the comprehensive quality of managers,improving social service systems,increasing financial support,regulating forest land circulation,and detailing policies.
