The technology of rice regeneration is an important part of rice industry,and this is also the main measure to make full use of natural resources and increase grain production.The yield increase of the ratooning rice mainly lies in selecting excellent regeneration varieties.In the southeast of Sichuan Province,in the same cultivation conditions,using 29 different types of hybrid rice varieties,study on correlation between varietal characters and ratooning ability of rice.Exploring the characteristics of main varieties of ratooning ability.Through experimental research,the main traits related to the first season rice are: Plant height of rice,Seedling number of low pile,Countdown third leaf length,Total leaf area,Effective panicle number,The number of heading days of regenerated rice.The results of the specific relationship are as follows:1.A long time period of maturity of the first season rice is unfavorable to the growth of regenerated rice;Ear of rice fast growing varieties have high yield in Regeneration season?2.The relationship between plant characters of the first season rice and ratooning ability was shown as follows:(1)The rice plant height of the first season was negatively correlated with the yield of the ratooning rice.(2)The regenerative yield of the varieties with coarse stem was higher,and the regression coefficient of stem diameter and yield was B=5.906(3)The stem hardness of the first season rice has a significant positive correlation with the rate of seedling emergence,the percentage of panicle and the yield of regenerated rice.(4)The flag leaf of first season rice is beneficial to germination and regeneration of long panicle,the longer leaf of Inverted 2 leaf of rice,the lower yield of regenerated rice,the longer leaf of Inverted 3 leaf of rice,the higher yield of regenerated rice.(5)The rate of regeneration of rice and the rate of ear forming is higher with the wider leaf of Inverted 2 leaf of rice.(6)The longer the distance from the flag leaf to the Inverted 2 leaf,the lower the yield of the regenerated rice.4.The lower yield of regenerated rice with larger total leaf area in the first season rice;The rate of regeneration and the rate of ear forming is lower in the varieties with larger the flag leaf area;Varieties with strong root activity in the first season is higher yield of regenerated rice;The spikelets per unit area and regrowth yield was negatively correlated.5.The higher the effective spikes of the first season rice,the lower the yield of theratooning rice is,with regenerated yield regression coefficient B=-0.207.6.The first season low pile(the high as the ground)has a higher number of seedlings,The rate of emergence,the rate of panicle and the yield are higher,with regenerated yield regression coefficient B=0.783.7.In secondary suitable region of regenerated rice,the higher accumulated temperature of the first season rice is unfavorable to the growth of the regenerated season.
