Gynura Bicolor is medicinal and edible wild plant,more and more welcomed by the vast number of consumers,which has great economic benefits in large-scale production.But Gynura Bicolor is mainly sporadic in the southern region of open cultivation and extensive management.Therefore in this paper,the edible and medicinal values of Gynura Bicolor were studied from two aspects: cultivation substrate and nutrition control.The growth and quality of Gynura Bicolor were studied by using coconut-perlite and peat-perlite mixed matrix as experimental medium.On the basis of this,the suitable cultivation substrate was used to Gynura Bicolor broth,and studied the relationship between nitrogen and phosphorus nutrition and quality and quality of Gynura Bicolor.The main results are as follows:1.In the mixed matrix test,the yield of Gynura Bicolor which cultured by peat-perlite mixed substrate was significantly higher than that of coconut-perlite.In peat treatment,the best blending ratio of perlite was 28%,and the yield was about 1 times higher than that of coconut.In terms of food quality,coconut treatment is generally superior to peat treatment;medicinal quality,peat treatment is better than coconut treatment.2.The fresh weight of Gynura Bicolor under different nitrogen concentrations was 16% higher than that of 8 mmol/L.In the aspects of food quality,the treatment of 16 mmol/L nitrogen concentration was superior to other treatments.In the medicinal quality,the content of total flavonoids in the treatment of 12 mmol/L nitrogen concentration was better than other treatments.3.In different phosphorus concentration treatment experiments,the yield of 0.74mmol/L phosphorus concentration was the highest,which was 14% higher than that of 1.48 mmol/L.In the two aspects of food quality and medicinal quality,0.74 mmol/L phosphorus concentration treatment was better than other treatments.4.The different nutrient solution of different ammonium nitrate had a significant effect on the growth and quality of Gynura Bicolor.In terms of growth,treatment of ammonium nitrate ratio of 1:4.3 was better than other treatments.In the aspect of edible quality,the higher ratio of ammonium nitrate(1:0.14)nutrient solution was beneficial to the accumulation of free amino acids in Gynura Bicolor plants.The medicinal quality,the ratio of ammonium nitrate(1:1)was more beneficial to increase the content of total flavonoids in plant.5.To sum up,the peat-perlite mixed matrix(mixing ratio: peat:perlite = 72: 28)is better than other treatments.High nitrogen treatment and 0.74 mmol/L phosphorus concentration were beneficial to the yield and quality of Gynura Bicolor,and the higher nitrate nitrogen was better to the growth of Gynura Bicolor.
