In this study,through the comparison three cultivation methods,five kinds of nutrient solution and four nitrogen levels on the growth and quality of Houttuynia cordata,in order to obtain the best cultivation mode and the best nutrition formula of Houttuynia cordata.The aim of this evalution was to provide a theoretical basis of soilless cultivation techniques and rational fertilization for Houttuynia cordata.The main results were as follows:1.Houttuynia cordata cultivated in the five kinds of nutrient solution can sur vive and grow normally.The total fresh weight of SC AU leafy nutrient solution B and half dose Japanese garden formula treatments was significantly higher than other treatments.But for the point of view of quality,SCAU leafy nutrient solution B was better than the other treatments.And the yield and content of methyl-n-nonylketone in roots cultivated in SCAU leafy nutrient solution B was the highest.2.The fresh weight of cauline leaf above ground grow in medium and substrate + hydroponics were 49.98% and 22.33%higher than those that grow in the soil.The fresh weight of rhizome underground grow in medium and substrate + hydroponic were58.13% and 66.67%higher than those that grownin the soil.But the root-shoot ratio of Houttuynia cordata cultivated in substrate + hydroponic was significantly higher than the other treatments.For the quality aspects,The content of Vc,crude protein,soluble sugar in rhizome that grown in medium was the highest.In terms of methyl-n-nonylketone,it's content and yield from the roots grown in substrate is superior to the other treatments.3.Under different nitrogen concentration,the production of 12mmol/L treatment was the highest,and it's fresh weight of stem leaf and rhizomewere 30.57% and 13.39% higher than8 mmol/L treatment.In terms of quality,the content of Vc in cauline leaf shows that the 8 mmol/L treatment was significantly higher than the other treatments,16 mmol/L treatment was beneficial to the formation and accumulation of crude protein and soluble sugar.The 12 mmol/L nitrogen treatment was more conducive to the formation and accumulation of methyl-n-nonylketone.Above all,The growth and quality of Houttuynia cordata cultivatde in medium were better than other treatments.The suitable nutrient solution for soilless cultured Houttuynia cordata was SCAU leafy nutrient solution B.On the basis of SCAU leafy nutrient solution B,adjust the nitrogen concentration to 12mmol/L was more conducive to improve the yield and quality of Houttuynia cordata Thunb.
