As comprehensively promoting the construction of ecological civilization and creating a deeper state forest city,a healthy forest resources,more and more catch society's attention.The“National Urban Forest evaluation index”shows forest health as an important part of evaluation of Urban Forest Construction.Based on information of forest health assessment and forest city construction,adopting 2014 Landsat 8 TM image as the main source of information,according to the actual situation of the region,Pinus,coniferous and broad leaved mixed forest,Eucalyptus,Acacia,broad-leaf mixed forest and Dimocarpus as main research objects,the thesis selects the factors of forest health assessment through Wilcoxon and Principal Component Analysis.The 2016 Landsat-8 TM imaging testing of the accuracy.The paper analyzes the health conditions of Dongguan's forests,discusses the major reasons that influence forest health condition,and raises solutions to the restoration of forest health.Some major findings are as follows:1.The use of remote sensing image forest health is feasible extracting slope position,slope aspect,slope grade,elevation,canopy and vegetation indices.The interpretation precision of forest health between 87%and 94%.The accuracy of coniferous-broad mixed forest and broad-leaf mixed forest is the highest,up to 94%.It followed by Acacia and Eucalyptus,the precision of 93%and 91%,respectively.Interpretation accuracy of Pinus and Dimocarpus is lowest,88%and 87%,respectively.2.Quick interpretation based on remote sensing of different forest health factor is different.Pinus:slope grade,elevation,TM9/TM4Coniferous and broad leaved mixed forest:EVI,TM7-TM3,TM5,TM7-TM4Eucalyptus:TM10,NDVI,TM5/TM3Acacia:canopy,TM5/TM4,TM3,TM4,TM9/TM4Broad-leaf mixed forest:TM11/TM9,TM7,TM5/TM3Dimocarpus:NDGI,TM6/TM5,TM9/TM4,GNDVI3.Interpret the health conditions of Dongguan,s forests by remote sensing factor value,it should first read out of the forest types,then according to the different factors interpretation of the value to interpret the health conditions.4.Forest health condition of Dongguan is good overall.The healthy forests is 54896.03hm~2,and the unhealthy forests is 4118.52hm~2.However,the health and unhealthy forest distribution is not uneven.5.The whole,the city and the water film is the high proportion of healthy forests,and the coastal and hilly films is low.The coastal area of unhealthy forests are mainly pine and eucalyptus.The hilly area of unhealthy forests are eucalyptus.The mountain area forests in poor health fulling of industrial parks,and unhealthy forests are mainly pine.
