The new era,the overall development of China's chicken industry faster, more than all the people think, has become a breeding system only after the meat industry. The scale of its raising is slowly increasing, the number of which is gradually increasing, the risk of the epidemic in the breeding industry frequently, since 2006,China's poultry industry because of avian flu,the loss is great,a lot of poultry sales market are not Business,at the same time, consumers have no trust, and all kinds of poultry products.Second, the meat, egg market prices fall rapidly, the demand is also very small. That is,efforts to tap the head of the farmers in the breeding process, the prevention and control behavior will be affected by those reasons,in line with the current needs of the poultry industry development. This paper based on the survey of poultry farmers in Guangdong Province, collecting the questionnnaire of 550 farmers(542 valid questionnnaire),and systematically described the overall behavioral characteristics of farmers in the process of avian flu prevention and control. The Poisson regression model and Logistic regression model were used to analyze the influencing factors of the prevention and control behavior of poultry farmers(the number of vaccination, the outbreak and the outbreak of poultry). Finally, the policy suggestions were put forward according to the conclusion. The main conclusions are as follows:In the case of avian influenza vaccination,71.96% of the farmers vaccinate against avian influenza, and some of the farmers have not vaccinate.Factors affecting the behavior are: farming scale, breeding years, farming income accounted for, bird flu symptoms, whether cooperation, the frequency of government supervision and inspection, poultry economic loss is expected. That is,the smaller the farming scale, the more inclined to less vaccinate;the shorter the breeding time, the more inclinedto vaccinate;the higher the proportion of farming income, the higher the awareness of avian flu symptoms, the more the higher the frequency of supervision and inspection of the government, the more likely the farmer to increase the vaccine investment;the greater the risk of the expected loss of the poultry to the avian flu,the greater the risk of the poultry breed, the more likely it is to increase the number of vaccine inputs Will actively invest avian influenza vaccine to prevent and control to reduce losses. In the report of the epidemic, the farmers in the report on the importance of the epidemic is not very different, there are some farmers in their own poultry infection when the avian flu is not reported. When found in the adjacent farm infected with avian influenza, the choice of treatment options are various.Education, the scale of the breeding, the awareness of avian flu symptoms, the importance of bird awareness report, the credibility of the government culling compensation, the importance of animal epidemic prevention awareness, the government monitoring the frequency of seven variables is the impact of reporting the epidemic Significant factor. The smaller the size of the farmers do not want to report the epidemic;that report the more important and the more important animal epidemic prevention work, the more likely to choose to report the epidemic;farmers on avian flu symptoms and government culling compensation policy of the trust variables have a negative impact on the epidemic report;the frequency of supervision and inspection of the government has a positive impact on the epidemic reporting. In the treatment of diseased poultry, the behavior of choice for treatment of dead poultry has shown a difference in the choices(safe handling,discarding,edible,etc.).The factors affecting the behavior of dead poultry were mainly affected by sex, age, age of breeding, the importance of animal epidemic prevention, the cost of dead bird treatment, and the expected six variables of avian influenza economic loss.Gender, age, age of breeding, dead bird treatment costs cognitive variables constitute a negative impact. That is,women compared with men, women is less likely to choose secure way to treat dead poultry;the longer the breeding period, the more farmers do not want to choose a safe way;The more farmers believe that the lower the cost of dead birds, the more likely to choose a safe way to deal with. The importance ofanimal epidemic prevention awareness, avian influenza economic loss expected variable has a positive impact. That is,the more important to the farmers the importance of animal epidemic prevention, avian influenza economic loss, the more likely to choose a safe way.
