Pneumatic conveying system,as the core part of cotton picker,has an important influence on the picking efficiency.Understanding the defects of its internal flow is the basis for improving performance.So far,There are few studies on the negative pressure conveying system matching cotton picker.In this paper,Taking suction inlet's negative pressure as the main research object.the model of pneumatic conveying system is established by three dimensional software UG.Then the fluid analysis software FLUENT is used to analyze the flow field,And output the related data,Using data sorting software Origin to draw the corresponding curve.The paper analyzes the pneumatic conveying system through the following three aspects:(1)The influence of different rotation rate and flow rate's conditions on the flow field and performance of the negative pressure conveying system of cotton picker is analyzed.The results show that with the increase of rotating speed,the conveying speed of the fan increases linearly,and the quality of the flow field is also improved.,and the negative pressure performance of the suction inlet is gradually increased.With the increase of the flow rate,the negative pressure trend of the suction inlet gradually decreases and the internal transportation speed of the fan is increasing gradually.(2)Three different bending models of three pipelines were established,Analysis their negative pressure distributions.It is concluded that when the three pipelines are all two bending,the negative pressure of the suction inlet is the largest and the performance of the conveying system is the best.Therefore,the best combination of three pipelines has been achieved.(3)Ensure the constant area of the expansion equivalent,change the width parameters of the volute,compare the full pressure and negative pressure performance of the fan under five different widths.It is concluded that there is still room for improvement in the structure of the original fan,then compares the velocity field and pressure field of the fan before and after the optimization,and finds that the quality of the flow field after the optimization has been improved to a certain extent.Therefore,it provides a reference for fan structure optimization.
