| The rice in cold region has been favored by consumers because of its excellent quality and good palatability.Rice cooking and eating quality is an important aspect of measuring rice quality. Objective evaluation of rice cooking and eating quality has important significance for breeding. The RVA profile characteristics and amylose content are important indicators to measure rice cooking and eating quality.166 germplasm resources of rice in cold region were used as the experimental materials,RVA profile characteristics and amylose content were determined, and variation analysis, correlation analysis and cluster analysis were carried in order to effective utilization of rice germplasm resources in cold regions and provide a theoretical basis for breeding of high cooking and eating quality rice varieties. The 267 SSR loci distributed on all 12 chromosomes of rice were used and association between these SSR loci and RVA profile characteristics and amylose content traits were studied in order to obtaining SSR loci closely linked to the target trait, and provide research basis for molecularly assisted breeding for improving rice cooking and eating quality in cold regions. The main results were as follows:(1)The variation analysis of RVA profile characteristics and amylose content of 166 rice germplasm resources in cold region were carried out.The results showed, the coefficient of variation of the amylose content was 0.103;Among the RVA profile characteristics, the coefficient of variation of the SBV was the highest(1.130),the remaining values from the highest to the lowest were the CSV,BDV,CPV,HPV,PKV,Pe T,Pa T,the coefficient of variation was 0.257,0.245,0.222,0.220,0.204,0.163 and 0.066 respectively.(2)The correlation analysis of RVA profile characteristics and amylose content of 166 rice germplasm resources in cold region were carried out.The results showed, there were significant correlation between the traits have been measured by this study; There were significant negative correlation between the BDV and the SBV;The Pa T were not significantly related to the BDV and the PKV,and the SBV is not significantly related to the PKV;The BDV is not significantly related to the amylose content; There were significant positive correlation between the remaining traits.(3)The cluster analysis of 166 rice germplasm resources in cold region were carried out.The results showed,166 rice germplasm resources in cold region were divided into 5 groups. The group 1 includes 90 varieties such as longhua07-211,xinyueguang and yijianzhongqing etc.,the average of the HPV,CPV,CSV and Pe T of group 1 were highest. The group 2 includes 38 varieties such as kongyu139,suijing14 hao,and tengxi137 etc.,the average of the SBV,CSV and Pa T of group 2 were relatively high. The group 3 includes 23 varieties such as shangyu427,heijing8 and mudanjiang28 etc.with the highest average of the PKV and the BDV.The group 4 includes 8 varieties such as hejiang19,longjing 18,longjing 9 etc.,the average of the BDV was lowest and the average of the SBV and the Pa T were highest. The group 5 includes 7 varieties such as tengxi147,longdao8 hao and longjing44 etc.,the average of the traits of RVA profile characteristics were the lowest except the BDV.(4)The association analysis between 267 SSR loci and RVA profile characteristics and amylose content traits shows follows, there were 8 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the PKV,located on chromosomes 1,2,3,5,7,9,10,and 12,explaining 6.700% to 10.565% phenotypic variation; There were 9 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the HPV,located on chromosomes 1,5,6,7,10,11,and 12,explaining 6.226% to 13.277% phenotypic variation; There were 10 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the CPV,located on chromosomes 1,2,5,6,7,11,and 12,explaining 6.488% to 16.141% phenotypic variation; There were 8 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the BDV,located on chromosomes 1,2,3,7,and 8,explaining 5.321% to 11.204% phenotypic variation; There were 7 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the SBV,located on chromosomes 3,4,6,7,8,and 10,explaining 3.779% to 15.127% phenotypic variation; There were 9 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the CSV,located on chromosomes 2,5,6,7,8,and 12,explaining 7.059% to 20.327% phenotypic variation; There were 5 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the Pa T,located on chromosomes 5,6,7,and 12,explaining 5.329% to 15.616% phenotypic variation; There were 13 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the Pe T,located on chromosomes 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,and 12,explaining 6.781% to 33.898% phenotypic variation; There were 10 SSR loci that were significantly associated with the AC,located on chromosomes 1,3,6,7,8,and 12,explaining 4.184% to 27.594% phenotypic variation. |
